Welcome to the 2021 Firefighters Classic

This is a PDGA sanctioned C/B tier event no Alcohol or drugs are allowed during play. Disc Baron is our presenting sponsor and will be handling the online payouts as well as the player pack items. When you check in at the pavilion near hole 2 I need you to sign a waiver form that the city of Troy needs in order to allow us to run this event. This is also the reason I asked for your address when you registered.

I want to thank Disc Baron for providing Player Packs and doing payouts for us. Motor City Chain Gang for helping make this a smooth event and marking the course. All of those that helped and are bringing a basket.

There also will be a Zucca cart that we will be raffling off. Tickets will be $5 and you can buy them up until I announce a winner. I will make it known at the event when last chance and the drawing will be after the completion of the event.
Please check in before 0815 or your spot will be forfeited. There will be a small delay for lunch following the first round (45 minutes to an hour). We will be utilizing PDGA Live scoring for this event. You can find more information regarding usage here:

The following divisions will be playing from the following tee pads:
R1: All Open and Age Protected division’s, MA1,MA2 will play longs. EVERYONE else plays the shorts.
R2: All open and MA1 will play longs EVERYONE else will play the short tee’s.

Out of bounds will be surrounded by water (EXCEPT the water that is parallel to Hole 3), off park property, on or over the parking lot or park road. Anywhere on the cement or on the Pavilion near hole 2. I understand Park Property is ambiguous when it comes to private property and the park near hole 14. We can’t mark that area per the park and homeowners, so please just use your best judgement.

Distances aren’t done yet since were aren’t marking the course till later today or tomorrow. However, the distances will be on the PDGA live score card. There is some information now, but that’s just the regular course. Below is what the holes will look like sans distances.
