There could always be a late withdrawal. My best advice would be for him to sign up for the waitlist so he's in line for a spot. Any waitlisted players that are not promoted after the close of registration will get a full refund. There is also currently a spot available in MA1, so he could play up for the same price if he just wants to get in.

Each division has a separate cap. So even thought there might be x number of total spots open in the tournament overall, once a specific division meets its cap, a waitlist forms for that division. I expect most or all divisions will be on a waitlist by the time registration closes.

Hey Jeff! I'm excited that you're excited! Let me see if I can answer a few of these questions. First, the awards ceremony will most likely be at the RV near hole 1, so the fireworks will be on 18's green. I was advised by the PDGA that live music on or near a green could be disruptive to the flow of play. They already had some concerns about the aforementioned fireworks, so I decided to pick my battles. Also, I fought hard, but they wouldn't budge on the horses during sanctioned play. So...side game!

The short answer is that it's not likely this year sir. The long answer is that with only one course in play, and that course being a longer one, we only have room for 72 total players. There are multiple divisions we would like to offer, and the caps on the divisions we do have available are much lower than we would like. The good news is that a second course in Dickson, and another in Lyles, are currently in development, and it is our hope that this event will grow into a B tier with room for at least twice the players, in 2023.
