Teardown – If you are available to help bring in lights and extra baskets after the round we would greatly appreciate the help.
Tournament Central:
Located at the large pavilion by the parking lot north of the lake off Nova Road.
Parking:
Parking is available in the parking lot north of the lake off Nova Road (2871 S. Nova Road, https://maps.app.goo.gl/bkiaGAqzu5m3tkjZ7 ). DO NOT park in the lot off Reed Canal as the city normally closes that gate after dusk.
Format and Scoring:
The Space Race is a nighttime ace race event featuring a two disc player pack from the industry leader in glow technology. Only the players pack discs can be used in the event.
To increase the fun-factor, a modified format will be used. Players will throw both discs on the teepad of each hole only scoring your best disc. Example: You hit metal on your first throw and chains on your second throw. You only score the chain hit for a 3.
Scoring will be as follows (cards provided):
1pt-metal hit (cage, band, pole)
3pt-chain hit
5pt-ace
Most cumulative points wins. Top finishers will be awarded MVP Discs (Lab 2nd) as prizes. The top female score will also earn prizes.
Course Distances and Notes:
See picture section.
**All teepads will have flags. One of which will have glow tape with the hole number written on it. When you leave the teepad, hit it with your UV flashlight to keep it glowing for the next players to easily see it.
Awards and Raffle:
During awards, there will be a raffle for a compact ZUCA cart. All participants will receive a raffle ticket with their players pack.
Thank you,
Sarah Hokom - Tournament Director
Kory Olko – Course Director
