There are none specifically assigned to the event. Closest hotels include Hilton Garden Inn and Courtyard by Marriott in Rancho Bernardo. Escondido also has an Econo Lodge and Suites. Those are all 3.9 and above. There may be other options in Escondido also.

When the event opened there were no caps on any division (I did not limit any division). There was nothing stopping this event from having 72 women playing in the pro fields. There will be 16 women in FPO/FP40/FP60 total based on where things stand right now.

Sponsors of holes are supporting the event by providing us with additional cash flow to help the tournament be better/bigger. We have lots of people that want to do it. It is an opportunity to get your name or company logo on a tee sign at one of the biggest events in the southwest. This is the same it has been in previous years. Some events give hole sponsors early registration, but we do not (only for higher donors as part of larger sponsorship packages). We do this for various reasons. Firstly to limit the number of spots taken by sponsors, qualifiers, and past year volunteers. Second, I purposely keep the costs of this event lower than most large tournaments to give everyone access to the event. I choose not provide an advantage (to those that can pay extra in order to secure a spot. We have a qualifier every year to give people an opportunity. There are also volunteer opportunities where last year volunteers get early access to registration. I limit the number of pre-claimed spots to well below the PDGA limit.
