Unfortunate but understandable that we continue to lose players that are choosing to practice USDGC over playing the event. Think we are only gonna see a gradual decline each day.

Is Craig Head forest the closest place to camp?...Or if any one knows of something else. I am one of the car campers that's looking for a place to park and shower for the week....Thanks

Craighead Forest Park does have a nice campground and shower house. But, I am not sure you can camp with just you car 'Car Camper'. If you have a tent, or a truck and camper shell you will be fine, but just parking your car is discouraged.

Any news on if spectators will be allowed?

Should be making an announcement in less than a week. Stay tuned and thank you for your interest!

Cart or bag it? Never played Disc Side of Heaven. Looking at the footage it looks like a of up and down with the hills.

Bradley Pietz   September 4, 2020 at 6:58pm

Hi Jon- Most players use a bag due to the hills, but there are a few that cart as well... but the majority use bags.

Jon Boothe   September 5, 2020 at 3:55pm

Thanks Bradley. Just watched some footage of Ricky W. playing with a bag. If he's using one, it must be steep.

Will caddies be aloud for this event? Not sure if it's a PDGA rule right now not the allow caddies

Bradley Pietz   August 10, 2020 at 2:17pm

We are planning for caddies to be allowed, but a final decision will not be made for caddies and spectators until 2 weeks before the tournament.

Is this invitation only??

Bradley Pietz   June 10, 2020 at 10:56pm

Hi Jared. This event was sold out with a wait list when it was postponed due to the virus. Everyone who was signed up at the time of postponement has two weeks to re-register. It will open back up to Phase 4 (min 900 rating for MPO) on June 15.

Jared Boothe   June 11, 2020 at 2:29am

Ok thank you

I would also like details on a refund. While the event may be postponed, a lot of us can’t just take off work for a future event. When you can answer this, please respond.

I would officially like a refund when you can please. I’m a nurse at the hospital so it’s hard to tell when I can play again

Bradley Pietz    March 13, 2020 at 5:37pm

News update (12:30 pm on Mar 13) We just received word this morning that Jonesboro Open will be postponed. We do not have ANY other information regarding a possible make-up date or if this will be an outright cancellation. We will let everyone know more when we know more. Things are changing by the hour, we do not want to post any information that may change hours after it is posted. Thank you for your patience and understanding during this never-before-seen circumstance regarding the world of sports across the globe. Brad Pietz, TD Jonesboro Open

Confused.....Do we need to request a refund if the tournament has been cancelled? Will it auto pay us back? We have 3 days before being penalized.....On the bright side- I am graduating High School early now

I would be playing at this tournament, if there were age protected divisions.

Love watching the Masters play on these great courses. Why are there no age protected Pro divisions!?
