About this tournament

The Disc Golf Pro Tour (DGPT) and the Professional Disc Golf Association (PDGA) has announced that PDGA Elite Series events will be moving to Phase 3 of the COVID-19 Requirements & Best Practices for PDGA Elite Series v3.0. Phase 3 restores normal event protocols and relaxes the limits on spectators, subject to local guidance. Phase 3 has been implemented for the remainder of the 2021 season, barring a significant shift in the status of the pandemic. In Phase 3, all Elite Series Events through 2021 are confirmed. This status could regress should the status of the COVID-19 pandemic change. All Elite Series events through 2021 will be considered in Phase 3 unless local regulations stipulate a stricter Phase designation., tickets for spectating will be available soon.
Tickets will be available for purchase from the DGPT website.

Idlewild Open returns for it's 5th year on the Disc Golf Pro Tour. presented by Dynamic Discs and hosted by The Nati Disc Golf and their excellent staff. Known by most as the most challenging and difficult course on tour, this beast has it all. Elevation changes on numerous holes may help or add to your required distance. Punishing rough lined fairways grab errant shots with no remorse. The snake like creek that slithers through several holes increases the risk of adding strokes as well as constricting greens on a few baskets. Shot accuracy and placement take a higher priority then just raw distance. Weather conditions have also played a big factor in our first two years and will most likely continue it's dreaded rein. No lead is safe going down the final stretch of holes. Join us this summer for another exciting event at Idlewild.

Tee Times will be set and ready on Wednesday evening. We will be sorting first round by Ratings, besides the Feature cards.

Ace Fund: Current Total is at $270, be sure let us know if you haven't paid in yet, must be in by Thursday Night.
If no Aces from the pool hit this year, we will make a donation to a local Charity.
