According to the crowd I spend most of my days with I'm an "old folk" at 30! Silly kids these days. Sadly, I did not have time to brew up my Thai "chili" for the cook off. Maybe next year. But I did get some new plastic to test out tomorrow before the tourney. Silly me, chucking new plastic during the first tourney of the year. ROCK ON DGOD!

Can you smell it?? The sweet aroma of tournament disc golf, with a hint of all the chili being cooked in anticipation of un-seating Mr Tim Stone as DGOD's reigning Chili King. Ahhhhh..the sweet sweet smell of competition and great food for a January day in Oregon. The Ice Bowl is just over 12 hours away,my peeps!! The Tourney Season is upon us and Spring is right around the corner!!! Huck On Ye Golfers of the Plastic Disc!!! HUCK ON!!!

The pic's that Vince downloaded show alot of work going on. THANK YOU GUYS!!! The course looks great!! The bloated wheelbarrow tire spaeks volumes of the hard work and it is greatly appreciated by all of the tourney participants. 4 days until the Tournament Season begins. RELEASE THE PIDGEONS!!! See you fellow players Saturday. Thanks to Dan Brown for bringing the prestigeous event to Oregon. The tourney disc's are sick!! The multi-color stickers are sweet!! The Karma that will be spread from the food drive will benefit all. Remember..NO CREAMED CORN!!! None..Nada..Zilch...Zero...Dont Do It!!

Bring your taste buds prepared!! And dont forget the Canned Food Drive folks. Leave the damned Creamed Corn at home, too! I dont like it..you dont like it..nobody likes it!! See you all there!

How much Chili is one to make for entry into the cookoff? Are we going just "best of show" or are there multiple winners (fan favorite, hottest, best...)?

ONLY 22 spots are left open for the IceBowl later this month. The time to register is now!! Dont be left out of a great chance to support local disc golf and the families that the tournament will provide much needed assistance. Don't be shy..step up..pay the registration fee(on-line if you're bashful) and come out for some disc golf,a chili cook-off(which I intend to kick butt in.) and help families in our area who aren't as fortunate as you. See YOU..YES YOU!!! on the 22nd.
