DGOD! Derby @ Portland Meadows

(Sam, Dan - Great idea and execution), Andy (Quick postings, the secret sauce), Mike (Baskets, and heavy lifting), (Vince - pics and pond shagging), all the SPONSORS (I will buy my stuff from you), and the countless other people who helped that I don't know. Thank You! Great tournament, I ate like a king, tough layout and distance, met some new people, got advice from the Jedi's (Pinkal and Hagerty), and had lots of fun. Blocking out next year on my calendar now.

As predicted the Derby was fantastic from start to finish!! Weather was even pretty good for Fall in Oregon and the winds made for some very interesting disc. Dan Brown and The DGOD CREW featuring Andy V., Tree S., Vince and Trey and Kandi Epker, Miss Angie "Raffle Master" Noah Brown and anybody I missed, Tourney Director Sam Gibson, Next Adventure, Huk Lab, Stumptown, Disc Golf Creations, Hylton Baskets, Portland Meadows and everyone who played in such an awesome Fund-Raiser...THANK YOU!!!

Ok..Dig it!! The course lay-out at Portland Meadows for The DGOD Derby tomorrow morning....IS SO SICK!!! I played the Glow Warm Up at the course and if you dont make it out and play this tournament, you are missing an awesome treat. Playing on the sweetest, manicured perfect fairways I've ever seen. Long drives here are a must. Watch out for the bunkers, greens are OB and hold on to your shorts!! Great time playing Glow and I cant wait to play it in the day-light tomorrow. Thanks Dan!! This will be the most awesome event of the Fall/Winter season. Dewey is asking if its ok for him to be at Meadows. He and Kathy will be there to show support for the tourney and disc golf. See you at 6 pm!!

You can show up at 6pm TD. There will be baskets to putt on and a few holes open, but most of the course wont be open until 7pm. See you there buddy!

What time can we start showing up for the Disc Under The Lights? I know it starts at 7 pm but can we get there a lil early to see the course? Please remember to support the fantastic sponsors of the Derby!! Without them it wouldnt be possible to have such great events!!

I was wondering if anybody wants to carpool from the Salem/ Dallas area. We can split the cost of gas and help save the environment. I can drive, or you can drive. Doesn't make a difference to me.

1 week to go!! If you're not registered, get it done soon. The tourney is over 1/2 full and will fill up fast with only a week to go!! If the past DGOD events are any indicator of how awesome this is gonna be, you dont wanna be missing this one!! A great charity, good friends and disc golf at Portland Meadows.... Its gonna be phantasmagorical!!!
