Hey All!

I'm sending out an update in regards to payouts and Players Packs for Back Bay Battle XII.

I got home at 6am on Monday morning and needed to crash so Monday was a late start to the workday. That being said, Pro Payouts and Ace Fund will be sent out today.

The Players Pack discs from Innova finally arrived in Biloxi a couple of hours ago. Here is the protocol:

Step I - I will be sending out a Google Doc to all Am players so they can request the mold of their choice. If you do not respond we will pick a disc for you.
Step II - Identify all the players in the Biloxi area that George Sims can get the discs to directly.
Step III - Ship discs to one location to areas that have multiple players (Hattiesburg, Mobile, Pensacola, etc) so players can pick up or have delivered.
Step IV - Ship the remaining discs back to FL so we can ship the discs to the players outside of the Biloxi and Gulf Coast areas.

This is going to probably take 2 weeks or so to complete so your patience is appreciated in advance.

This email is going to include lots of pertinent information so make sure you read through everything.

Before we begin, a quick thank you to Innova Discs, Team Hiller and Biloxi Parks & Recreation for helping get this event organized.

Important Weather Warning: It snowed the other day, please be prepared to play in wet/muddy conditions tomorrow.

Delayed Shipment Due to Weather:
UPS was supposed to deliver the Innova player pack discs on Thursday and then we received an email stating that they rescheduled to today. As of 8pm tonight, they still have not arrived, so the discs may not get delivered until tomorrow, which then they would handed out on Sunday.

Parking: We are asking all players to avoid parking past the yellow caution tape where present. Also, if you see any vehicles in the middle of any fairways, please text me or George Sims (228) 596-4338.

Tournament Central & Check In: Located at the pavilion near the parking lot by Hole 1. Players must check in before they start their round on Saturday. Pick up your players pack, get in the Ace/CTP Fund (if you haven't already) and introduce yourself.

Group/Hole Assignments: Registration Closes @ 10PM CST, assignments will be posted shortly after that.

Players Meeting: This is most of your players meeting. We will have a brief player's meeting, introduction meeting and brief Q & A at approximately 8:30am before we tee off.

All players must keep score. We will be utilizing PDGA digital scoring or paper scorecards.

Format: (3) Rounds of 23 Holes.

Course Wide OBs: On and beyond all roads. Surrounded by water in all ponds, bayous, creeks and lakes except when White Paint lines define OB. No 2-Meter Rule. White Painted lines that end with an arrow are infinity lines. Yellow Caution Tape is not OB and is only for parking control.

Tee Assignments:
MPO/MP40MP50/MA1 - Round 1: Blue Tees, Round 2: Red Tees
FPO/MP60/MA40/MA50/MA2/MA3 - Red Tees Both Rounds
EVERYONE ELSE - White Tees Both Rounds

Food/Drinks: There will be bottled water supplied for players. Regardless, please bring an ample supply of your own beverages.

New Tournament Players: For those of you new to playing PDGA sanctioned events, please peruse through the PDGA Rules and especially read through these particular rules below.

PDGA Rules: This event is sanctioned and will be using all PDGA Rules. Here are a couple of rules to consider to speed up play:

Am Players Pack: $26
Am Payout: $20
Pro Payout: $46

Am Player Pack:
(1) Premium Disc w/Event Art
(1) Premium T-Shirt (Lightweight 60/40 Blend)
(1) Premium Disc (Player's Choice) from Sun King Discs

Prize Payout: The top 45% of Amateur Players will be eligible for Prize Payout. Payout can be redeemed at the Sun King Mobile Pro Shop or our online store (a small shipping fee will be deducted for online orders) The Pro divisions will pay out the top 50% and have $750 Added Cash. Pro payout will be sent via PayPal or Venmo.

For those asking about Sunday it will be a shotgun start just like most are and will be announced on Saturday after the second round you can also check your emails on Saturday but most likely either a 9am or 10am start on Sunday…. Also we have never given out trophies in the 12 years of this tournament for Back Bay Battle always had payouts, cash for pros and merch for ams, also just like most b tiers….
