Good morning and Happy Thanksgiving! I am super excited that you signed up to be part of our Crossover NovemBERG Open 2022 at Woodland Mound on "Black Friday" (11/25).
This will be a 1 round, non-PDGA event. We will all shotgun start at 10a.
We will have everyone check in with Cheryl and/or myself in the parking lot around hole 1. We will not be having a players meeting. Once you check in and see your hole assignment, you may head to your hole.
For this event you must throw a Kastaplast BERG on every shot. You are free to bring as many as you like, but it's 100% BERG only throws.
With doing a shotgun start, make sure you are at your hole by 958p when we will yell "two minutes". Please be aware that the course is not shut down for this event, so be mindful and considerate of casuals who may be on the course.
We are playing a friendly course with no OB.
Here is the schedule of events. The schedule will look like this:
930-955a - Player Check In
10a - Shotgun Start
@1130a - Awards/payouts
There will be an ACE fund, and 2 CTP's. We will let you know in the morning the CTP holes. If no one hits an ACE during the round, we will do a throw off with the BERGs only, and the winner will take home the cash.
Cards will be made of of primarily 4 players. Depending on numbers, we may have to mix some divisions. We will do our best to make sure everyone is with at least 1 person from their division. Divisions of 5 will play together both rounds. Depending on numbers, I might have to move a few people around to create divisions that meet the minimum of 3 where necessary.
All divisions will receive a cash payout for this event. With the entry fee being $10, which includes the ACE fund and CTP's, the payouts will be smaller. For this event, we will pay out the top 33% of each division.
Even though it is a non-PDGA event, we will still follow the PDGA rules for the event as far as making calls on discs and such.
It's going to be a fun event. Again, we are excited that you are going to join us.
