Good morning. Thanks for signing up to be part of Kyle's 18th Day Glow Event at Cedar Grove on 8/26.
Let's dive into some important details.
Our address is: 21208 Meadow Lane, 47041
Please park up around the house/garage area.
It will be a 2 round BYOP tournament. The first round layout will be PURPLE and the format is BEST SCORE (If you score a 3 on hole 1, and your partner a 5, you write down a 3 for your team score). The second round will be a GLOW GREEN layout. The format will be BEST DISC. You and your partner throw, select the best disc and continue until you are holed out.
Kyle Terwilleger will be turning 18 on 8/13. So in honor and celebration of his birthday, he has asked to run a PAR-ty in the form of a BYOP. NO GIFTS PLEASE.
Please read carefully, because here are the rules of play for round 1:
Each player can bring as many discs as they want to use for round 1. They can only use their own discs. There are no sharing between teammates. The discs brought have to total 18 speed exactly. So to be clear:
Player A - Pure (3), River (7), Diamond (8) = 18 speed in 3 discs
Player B - Pure (3), Fuse (5), Harp (4), Beetle (1), Truth (5) = 17 speed 5 discs
BOTH ways are legal, and you mix and match any way you like.
Round 2 can be any glow disc or disc with glow tape.
SORRY FOR CAPS, BUT SUPER IMPORTANT. WE'VE BEEN DOING GLOW EVENTS FOR YEARS. LUCKILY FOR THIS EVENT THE MOON WILL BE A LITTLE MORE THAN HALF FULL. PLEASE DON'T BRING OR USE FLASHLIGHTS. YOUR EYES WILL ADJUST TO THE DARKNESS AND THERE IS NOTHING WORSE THAN GETTING BLINDED BY LIGHT AND THEN HAVING TO LET YOUR EYES READJUST. WE DO RECOMMEND A BLACK UV FLASHLIGHT. WE HAVE A FEW EXTRAS IF NEEDED. THEY CHARGE UP THE GLOW DISCS/TAPE WAY BETTER THAN A REGULAR FLASHLIGHT, AND DON'T BLIND YOUR CARDMATES. PLEASE DON'T BE THAT PERSON.

5:30pm- 6:00pm Check In
6:00pm Tee Off Round 1 Purple
8:00pm Cake/snacks
9:00pm Tee Off Round 2 Glow Green
There will be an ACE fund and some CTP's. The winners of each division will win a trophy.
