Good evening. Thanks for signing up to be part of the Crossover "Frosty Fling" series finale this week at Millikin in Hamilton. This event will be on Sunday, 3/1. This will be a 1 round PDGA C-tier that will shotgun start at 10a. We will play a special "Extra Mile" longer layout.

The following will be the most important details for the event. Please reach out to us if you have any additional questions or comments before the event.

The layout is pretty straightforward with OB beyond posts/fences/surrounded by paths. Any standing water will be played as casual relief.

We will use the shelter by the main parking lot as tournament central. The gate has been closed, so the main lot with the port o let is where the action will be.

The schedule will look like this for the day:
915-950a player check at shelter
10a - Shotgun Start

Per PDGA you must check in or can be removed prior to the event. All players not checked in by 950a will be removed from the field. Please have enough respect for us as TD's to check in. Thank you for your help with this. There is nothing harder on the TD to scramble trying to figure out if there are enough players on a hole because someone didn't check in.

Cards will be made up with pace of play in mind. Some cards will be mixed based on numbers in divisions. Pace of play is on each card. With a shotgun start and this layout, there is no reason for any card to get more than 2 holes behind. Please keep pace and be conscious about it.

Also, just a reminder, that any junior younger than 13 must have a parent/guardian on their card. There are many juniors now signing up in non-junior divisions, so we don't always catch this beforehand. Please advise and follow the PDGA guidelines on junior players.

All players must keep score using PDGA live or paper card to be turned in.

We are not going to have a players meeting. It is your responsibility to know what's expected for the day and be at your hole for the start of each round. Hole assignments will be posted by 9p Saturday night. However, people drop so I would double check 8a the morning of the event. You can find them here: https://www.pdga.com/tour/event/99783

If you decide that this event is not for you, to receive a refund, you must withdraw by 8p on Saturday 2/28.

Following the round, please give us a few minutes to get everything organized so we can hand out awards and payouts. If you are curious if you are going to get a payout, it is the top 40% per division by the PDGA. That will help you determine if you need/want to stick around. The Open players will receive cash/PayPal, and the AM's merchandise vouchers in the form of Crossover Cash. This can be exchanged for disc golf merchandise that we will have on hand. All vouchers must be used day of event. We will have around 300 discs from several different manufacturers, towels, chalk bags, hats, minis, etc.

For those who are in the ACE fund, if no ACE is hit we will donate it to the Bread of Life in Greensburg, Indiana. The entire Frosty Fling series any ace funds not hit will be donated at the completion of the series. So know that you are paying it forward.

We will have awards for the division winners from the Frosty Fling series. To win you needed to play in at least 3 of the events.

In the event there is a tie for first place in a division, the playoff will start on hole #1 until there is a winner.

This is a PDGA event, so everyone should be up to date on the PDGA's stance on what is legal and what is not legal. Please don't put Cheryl or myself in position to make a call that we don't want to address, or should have to address.

The "Extra Mile" has been marked. It has Osage Grove Blue vibes without the thorns, but very much Millikin with the gorgeous big trees! It's about 6700 feet.

I've adjusted the map to give you a rough idea. I have in detail described below where to go/look for the temp tees. In the past I've had parkgoers pull my flags, so I went with one flag low to the ground then marking paint to help out.

1 - 457 feet (by water park fence by bathroom) - OB beyond fence left and/or surrounded by pavement on walking trail
2 - 323 feet (directly behind 2 pad) - OB beyond fence left and/or surrounded by pavement on walking trail or gravel driveway long
3 - 464 feet (on concrete of old shelter) - OB beyond fence left
4 - 388 feet (regular tee) - OB beyond fence right and/or surrounded by gravel in parking lot
5 - 368 feet (behind regular tee by tree 80 feet back) - NO OB
6 - 400 feet (behind regular tee 60 feet) - OB over/beyond any property fence left
7 - 384 feet (behind regular tee by about 100 feet) - NO OB
8 - 432 feet (past #5 temp tee by next tree) - OB surrounded by pavement on road long (not circle by basket)
9 - 505 feet (on way to regular tee) - OB surrounded by pavement on road left (not basketball court)
10 - 480 feet (walk path towards regular tee then take a left back towards road under gnarly tree) - OB on shelter roof or surrounded by shelter concrete
11 - 323 feet (directly behind on path) - OB on/over path right and or beyond railroad tracks left
12 - 300 feet (behind regular tee about 50 feet) - OB beyond posts along driveway right
13 - 296 feet (directly right of regular tee by about 100 feet) - NO OB
14 460 feet (use 13 regular tee) - NO OB
15 - 230 feet (walk towards 15 basket from
