As we are approaching Sunday's Crossover Tour - Winter #2 at Osage Grove, I wanted to get out some information to you.
Sunday, the order of events will look like this:
915-945a - Player Check In - Come to the shelter and check in with Cheryl/Josh
945a - Brief Players Meeting - we will discuss the round
@1010a - Tee Off Shotgun Style - everyone tees off at the same time (and then finishes about the same time)
The forecast is showing a chance of rain. So who knows what that will hold. It doesn't appear to be a heavy, all day rain. So please
be prepared. Playing rain rounds are part of tournaments, and good experience. The best advice I can give you is to bring an umbrella more for your discs than anything and towels. Players who embrace/accept the rain, rather than dread it, often win the tournaments. I don't want to scare anyone away, because a "50%" chance of rain could be a light sprinkle at 8a and then be done for the day.
If you decide to not play this round, you need to submit your refund request by Friday (2/26) at 12p, in order to get a 100% refund. If you want to move your registration to Harbin on 3/20, that is an option as well. Again, I am not looking to put people in panic mode or trying to get you to move or withdraw. I'm just giving you your options.
We will be playing Osage Grove Reds. The pin locations are as follows:
1B, 2A, 3A, 4A, 5B, 6A, 7C, 8C, 9B, 10A, 11B, 12A, 13A, 15C, 14A, 16A, 17C, 18A
This is a pretty quick layout. I would anticipate rounds being around 2-2 1/2 hours of play.
I had to move a few players into a different division based on the criteria given. Please re-read the posted criteria. If you are in Novice B and should be in Novice A, please let me know so I can adjust it.
Thanks for being part of the Crossover Tour. The numbers and interest have been high so far, so we will continue to
look at doing more of these throughout the rest of the year.
Please let us know if you have any additional questions.
Thanks and we look forward to seeing you Sunday!
Josh and Cheryl
