Good evening. I am super excited that you signed up to be part of our next "Thursday Night Flights" at Winton Woods on 7/6. This will be a 1 round PDGA C-Tier. We will do a shotgun start at 615p sharp.
PLEASE READ - Yes I do copy and paste, but this part is new info for Winton Woods:
For Winton Woods, we will now check in at the shelter which is in the parking lot on the right before the big parking lot. That will be tournament central. For those of you who are starting on holes 2-8 you might want to park in the parking lot with the shelter. The rest may need to drive down or walk down. Afterwards, the top 45% will receive payouts. It's not required to come back to tournament central unless you "cash".
This event is part of our "Summer Series". This means we will keep track of points for the whole series. This will be an 11 week series that will run from 6/15 to 8/31 (excluding 7/27). Players get 1 point for every divisional opponent they place higher than, and 2 participation points per week. Points winners will receive the "Summer Series Cup". Also, since this is a series, we are going to do something new. If an ACE isn't hit, the ACE fund will carry over to the next week. If on the final week, the ACE isn't hit, there will be a throw off to clear out the ACE fund.

If you decide to withdraw from the event, you must do so by 3p for a refund.
Cheryl and I will be at tournament central, which will be located across from hole #4 as mentioned above. We will begin check in around 530p. We will have a shotgun start at 615p. I will post hole assignments by around 3p. They will be found at: Crossover Thursday Night Flights Summer Series #4 2023
With doing a shotgun start, make sure you are at your hole by 613p when we will yell "two minutes". Please be aware that the course is not shut down for this event, so be mindful and considerate of casuals who may be on the course. It's important that we all play nice together.

For those in the ACE fund, payouts will be done electronically this year.
We will be using PDGA Live for all scoring, and then a secondary form of scoring per card (PDGA live, Udisc or paper copy). The PDGA Live access code is: winton76
Cards will be made of of primarily 4 players. Depending on numbers, we may have to mix some divisions. We will do our best to make sure everyone is with at least 1 person from their division.
All AM divisions will receive AM's Crossover cash immediately following the completion of their divisions rounds. There will be merchandise on hand to exchange in the Crossover Cash. Open players will receive their payouts via PayPal electronically.
It is on each player to know the PDGA rules and guidelines. It is on each card to make sure you are on the appropriate tee. It's easy to go to the wrong hole sometimes, so make sure the card confirms they are on the correct tee pad for each hole.
