Good morning, and thanks for signing up to play "Crossover Throw Green" event with us on 3/24/2024 at Cedar Grove. The event will be 2 rounds, and is a PDGA C tier. We will throw the Green (short) layout both rounds. This is our easiest layout, but still brutiful in different ways.
When you come to our house, the address is 21208 Meadow Lane, 47041. Our driveway is a shared driveway. Ours is the first driveway to the RIGHT. You will see a little planter that looks like a disc golf basket with flowers in it with our address on it. Look to the right and that's it.
For the day, we will do a 1st round shotgun start at 930a. Check in will be inside the garage starting at 9a. When you arrive, I will be outside to help you get parked. For those who have to park in the yard, it isn't bad and we do it at all our events.
Since the Green layout typically takes around an hour and a half to play, we are not going to do the hour in between rounds. Depending on when cards get done, round 2 will be in the 1130a to 1145a range. So please plan accordingly. The layout is less than 3000 feet for 20 holes, and is no way grueling or taxing, so a quick break to get reorganized is all we are doing.
There ACE fund is included. If there are no aces hit, then we will do a throw off on hole 1. It's always a fan favorite. In the event of a tie for first, the players will start on hole 1 and follow the blue layout until there is a winner. It will be from the GREEN tee pad.
All hole and course particulars will be in PDGA live. Please feel free to use the tee signs for reference, but PDGA live is what we will go by, which might be slightly different than what is on the signs. There are 3 islands you must make off the drive (1, 3, 20), and another basket that has OB all around it on hole 11. If you go OB on the drive only, you go to the drop zone for that hole. We are not playing hole 12 (looks like a heart) as an island. There are also mandos to keep an eye out on as well. Holes 2, 5, 6, 10, 19, and 20 have them. There is some OB on property lines that are marked with stakes or a fence. The pond is also OB. The passcode for the event is: throwgreen
The cards will be made up primarily of 3's and 4's. It should only be about 1.5 hours to play these layouts so please keep pace.
We have finally set the layout where we can track course records. If you are wanting to make the list, the currently course record for the Green layout is -13 (47).
Hole assignments will be posted tonight around 9PM. You can find them here:

Again, we are excited to see you all on tomorrow. We will see you ready to take down Cedar Grove. We hope it’s the most “Brutiful” course you’ll ever play!
Thanks,
Josh and Cheryl
