Registration is closed and we are full at 92 players. Below you will find all the information about the upcoming Crossover Spring Fever at Millikin on 4/18.
As we are a few days away from the event, we just wanted to send out a players info email. Hopefully this will have everything in it to answer any questions you may have.
We will be playing 2 rounds, of shotgun start format for the day. We will play the regular 18 holes, with 5 temp holes, to give us 23 holes and 92 players. The course flows really well, and shouldn't be painfully long rounds. The temp tees will be marked with pink flags, and will have "next" signs where needed.
Tournament central will be at shelter #13. The schedule will look like this:
8-840a - Player Check In
840a - Brief players meeting
9a - 1st round tee off
1 hour lunch break when cards submitted
Round 2
Awards and Ace Throw Off if not hit during the round
For all players who are in the ACE Fund, if it is not hit, we will do a throw off and the ACE Fund will be split 60/40 with the 2 closest discs/players.
We will be using PDGA Live for all scoring, and then a secondary form of scoring per card (Udisc or paper copy). The PDGA Live access code is: springfever
You should be able to see what hole you are starting on by Saturday evening in PDGA event page.
For the OB list, any time it says "posts" or "fence" just know the OB line painted is inside this visual. The posts/fence
are reference points. Also, any time you see path it's referring to "pavement or gravel" and the disc has to be on it completely.
If any part is touching the inside part of grass, it is in.
Correct OB/Hole Order
#1 - OB over fence left, or on or over paths to the right and long
#2 - OB on or over path to the right or long
#3 - OB over fence to the left
#4-#9 - NO OB
#A - OB is on or over road to the right
#B - Mando with drop zone, you must go LEFT of tree with ribbon
#10 - OB is on the shelter roof or under it on the concrete floor. If this happens, you drop with penalty line of flight.
and also OB over fence long
#11-14 - NO OB
#C - NO OB
#15 - NO OB
#D - Mando with drop zone, you must go LEFT of tree with ribbon
#16 - NO OB
#E - OB over property fence to the left (drop line of flight) and the posts to the right (marked with paint to the left of them)
#17 - OB past the posts left
#18 - OB past the posts left
