Good evening and Happy New Year!
Thanks for signing up to play "Crossover Fling in the New Year 2025" event with us on 1/1/2025 at Cedar Grove. The event will be 2 rounds, and is a PDGA C tier. We will throw the GREEN layout 2 times. This is our shortest layout with ace runs and birdies for everyone.
When you come to our house, the address is 21208 Meadow Lane, 47041. Our driveway is a shared driveway. Ours is the first driveway to the RIGHT. You will see a little planter that looks like a disc golf basket with our address on it. Look to the right and that's it.
For the day, we will do a 1st round shotgun start at 10a. Check in will be inside the garage starting at 915a. When you arrive, I will be outside to help you get parked. For those who have to park in the yard, it isn't bad and we do it at all our events. It has rained quite a bit this week, and more tomorrow, so we will do what we can do get as many as we can on the gravel.
Lunch will be provided during the break before round 2. We will do our best to give everyone at least 45 minutes break. Speed of play is very important, being a shotgun start, everyone should be finishing about the same time on round 1.
There is an ACE fund that is included. If there are no aces hit, first I'd be shocked with 24 people playing 2 rounds of our GREEN layout. But if there aren't any hit, feedback from some of our regulars from last year suggested donating it to the course to help cover costs, which would be the port-o-let right now. In the event of a tie for first, the players will start on hole 1 and follow the GREEN layout until there is a winner.
All hole and course particulars will be in PDGA live. Please feel free to use the tee signs for reference, but PDGA live is what we will go by, which might be slightly different than what is on the signs. The passcode for the event is: cedar11
The layout will go like this for the 24 holes:
1 - no island/no OB
2 - OB left and long as marked
3 - no island/no OB
4 - OB left as marked
5 - double mando/no OB
6 - no OB
7 - no OB
8 - no OB
9 - OB only over fence right
10 - no OB
11 - no OB
12 - no island/no OB
A - double mando/no OB
B - no OB
C - no OB
D - no OB
13 - OB right as marked
14 - no OB
15 - OB only surrounded by water in pond
16 - no OB
17 - OB over logs
18 - no Island or OB
19 - OB surrounded by water or long past white line/fence
20 - no OB
In PDGA live, I will try to make sure that this is in there. Several holes have log fences/boarders on them. If a legal stance cannot be obtained, 1 meter relief is allowed. That would be on the following holes:
6 to the right of the basket
7 the corral area around the basket
9 long of the basket
17 long of the basket it's a stump fence with OB beyond it
20 long of the basket
The cards will be made up primarily of 3's and 4's. It should only be about 1.5 hours to play this layout.
Hole assignments will be posted by 9PM tomorrow night. However, those could change if anyone drops. You can find them here:

Again, we are excited to see you all on 1/1. Have a safe NYE, and we will see you ready to take down Cedar Grove. We hope it’s the most “Brutiful” course you’ll ever play!
Thanks,
Josh, Cheryl and Kyle
