Good evening. Thanks for signing up to be part of the Crossover "Fall Fling" series that stops at Heritage this week for the 3rd installment of series. This event will be on Sunday, 11/23. This will be a 1 round PDGA C-tier that will shotgun start at 10a. We will play the regular 18 hole layout.
The following will be the most important details for the event. Please reach out to us if you have any additional questions or comments before the event.

Whatever is in PDGA live is what players at to go by. It is important that on each tee, the group double checks particulars, so that everyone plays the correct and same layout.
The layout is pretty straightforward with OB being on/over roads/paths throughout the course. The "bamboo forests" are not OB, and neither is the tall grass. I would suggest a spotter on some holes as needed. If a disc goes into the bamboo or the high grass, all card mates need to help find the disc and start the 3 minutes allowed for finding a lost disc. If not found, it's a rethrow from previous spot with penalty stroke.
The tees have "foul lines". We do not play those. As long as the player releases on the concrete pad as usual for tee pads, there are no issues.

Per PDGA you must check in or can be removed prior to the event. All players not checked in by 950a will be removed from the field. Please have enough respect for us as TD's to check in. Thank you for your help with this. There is nothing harder on the TD to scramble trying to figure out if there are enough players on a hole because someone didn't check in.
Cards will be made up with pace of play in mind. Some cards will be mixed based on numbers in divisions. Pace of play is on each card. With a shotgun start and this layout, there is no reason for any card to get more than 2 holes behind. Please keep pace and be conscious about it.
Also, just a reminder, that any junior younger than 13 must have a parent/guardian on their card. There are many juniors now signing up in non-junior divisions, so we don't always catch this beforehand. Please advise and follow the PDGA guidelines on junior players.
We are not going to have a players meeting. It is your responsibility to know what's expected for the day and be at your hole for the start of each round. Hole assignments will be posted by 9p Saturday night. However, people drop so I would double check 8a the morning of the event. You can find them here:

If you decide that this event is not for you, to receive a refund, you must withdraw by 3p on Saturday, 11/22.
Following the round, please give us a few minutes to get everything organized so we can hand out awards and payouts. If you are curious if you are going to get a payout, it is the top 40% per division by the PDGA. That will help you determine if you need/want to stick around. The Open players will receive cash/PayPal, and the AM's merchandise vouchers in the form of Crossover Cash. This can be exchanged for disc golf merchandise that we will have on hand. All vouchers must be used day of event. We will have around 300 discs from several different manufacturers, towels, chalk bags, hats, minis, etc.
For those who are in the ACE fund, if no ACE is hit we will donate it to the Bread of Life in Greensburg, Indiana. The entire Fall Fling series any ace funds not hit will be donated at the completion of the series. So know that you are paying it forward.
In the event there is a tie for first place in a division, the playoff will start on hole #1 until there is a winner.
This is a PDGA event, so everyone should be up to date on the PDGA's stance on what is legal and what is not legal. Please don't put Cheryl or myself in position to make a call that we don't want to address, or should have to address.

We will be doing a points standings for the series. One of the division points winners will be selected randomly and will will free entry to our Frosty Fling series this winter in 2026.
