Good morning.
I wanted to get this tournament email out this morning. Cheryl and I are super excited about the upcoming Crossover Fall Fling Series that starts this weekend with #1 at Heritage. This will be a 1 round PDGA C-tier that will shotgun start at 10a. The whole series are PDGA C-Tier 1 round events. We just added Osage into the series and it is now #3 giving us a 4 event series. Here is the registration for that one:

The following will be the most important details for the event. Please reach out to us if you have any additional questions or
comments before the event. I am going to be the main TD for the event and not playing. Please text at: 513-225-6022 for any questions or issues in regards to the tournament.
We are playing the normal 18 holes at Heritage and adding 2 temp holes. It should be a fun and challenging day for everyone. I will post tonight where the temp holes will be added. They will not be set up until Saturday morning.
As far as the course particulars, we are playing a pretty friendly layout. Here's the layouts. Please note, Heritage has black "foul lines" on their tee pads. We do not play those. You must be somewhere on the concrete pad when you release your disc. Also, Heritage is known for the bamboo forests. We are not playing these as OB, but remember you get 3 minutes per PDGA to look for a lost disc. And also, if you find it, sometimes a 1 stroke "unplayable lie" going backwards on line with the basket is worth taking advantage of when buried deep in there.
OB/Course Particulars - I'll post in the comment section of Disc Golf Scene tonight where the 2 temp holes will be.
1 - NO OB
2 - NO OB
3 - OB on/over path long/right
4 - OB on/over path long/left
5 - OB on/over path long/left
6 - NO OB
7 - OB on/over path long/right

17 - OB on over path long/right
18 - NO OB
Again, with all the wildflower/high grass areas, as well as the bamboo forests, please utilize a spotter as much as possible for speed of play.
The schedule will look like this for the day:
9-950p player check in by hole 1
10a - Shotgun Start
@1230-1p Awards/Payouts
I can't stress enough, please take the short amount of time to physically check in with us by hole1. This helps us make sure that everyone is here, and there are no holes with less than 3 players. It might not seem like a big deal to you, but it causes us issues trying to figure out if you are present or not. Please, please, please, just stop by and check in with us. Thank you in advance for this!
It's going to be a fun day and event. The layout flows very well. We are not going to have a players meeting. It is your responsibility to know what's expected for the day and be at your hole for the start of each round. Hole assignments for round 1 will be posted on the PDGA page by 8p Friday evening. You can find them here:
https://www.pdga.com/tour/event/62013
For the flow of the day, the order of the holes will be on the physical scorecard and in PDGA Live. The access code is: bamboo
If you decide that this event is not for you, to receive a full refund, you must withdraw by 3p Friday. After that it is 50% up until 8a Saturday.
Following the round, please give us a few minutes to get everything organized so we can hand out awards and payouts. If you are curious if you are going to get a payout, it is the top 40% per division by the PDGA. That will help you determine if you need/want to stick around. The Open players will receive cash/PayPal, and the AM's Crossover Cash. This can be exchanged for disc golf merchandise that we will have on hand.
For those who are in the ACE fund, if no ACE is hit, we will do a throw off. The winner of the throw off will win the whole ace pot.
In the event there is a tie for first place in a division, they playoff will start on hole #1 until there is a winner, playing the layout from round 1.
This is a PDGA event, so everyone should be up to date on the PDGA's stance on what is legal and what is not legal. Please don't put Cheryl or myself in position to make a call that we don't want to address, or should have to address.
It's going to be a great day. Please contact us with any questions you may have!
We will see you this weekend.
Thanks,
Josh and Cheryl
