Good morning!
I wanted to get this tournament email out this morning. Cheryl and I are super excited about the upcoming Crossover Easter 3 Disc BYOP at Osage Grove this Saturday(4/16).
The following will be the most important details for the event. Please reach out to us if you have any additional questions or
comments before the event.
The event is a 1 rounder of 24 holes.
The schedule will look like this for the day:
9-940a - Player check in (it will by hole #1)
9:40-9:45a - Players Meeting
10a - Shotgun Start
@1p - Awards and payouts
It's going to be a fun day and event. The layout is challenging, and pretty efficient. It will be a mix of red and blue tees.
As far as the rules go with the 6 discs (3 per player) brought by each team. When throwing from a spot, the first player to throw can choose any of the 6 discs. The second player can then only pick from the remaining 5. This resets at each throw. The second player cannot go get the first disc thrown and use it on their second throw from a spot.
For the flow of the day, the order of the holes will go like this on the scorecard:
Old 1/Hole 19 - only OB is surrounded by water in creek right (very hard to get to....but possible)
1 - NO OB
A, B, C, D- OB only in creek surrounded by water
E - NO OB
2-5 - NO OB
6 - OB only in creek surrounded by water
7-13 - NO OB
15 - NO OB (go to 15 after hole 13)
14 - NO OB (go to hole 14 after 15)
16 - NO OB (go to hole 16 after 14)
17-18 - NO OB
The tees/baskets used will be:

B red

14 blue to Short basket
16 red to Long basket

Please note, Old hole 1/hole 19 only has one usable tee pad.
If there is no ACE hit, we will do a winner take all throw off.
In the event there is a tie for first place, they playoff will start on hole #1 until there is a winner.
At the completion of the round, we will do awards and payouts. The top 33% will receive a payout. The Open players will receive cash, and all other divisions Crossover Cash. This can be exchanged for disc golf merchandise that we will have on hand.
