Good evening. Super excited about tomorrow's Tag Round kick off. Below is the email I sent out the other day.
Check in will be from 915-950a by our normal shelter which is back between hole 1's basket and 18's basket. We will not be having any players meeting.
If you signed up and were only interested in the tag part, but not the rated round, you should be able to go to the players tab, click edit, and choose Tags Only. If that is you, please edit that for us, because it will help Cheryl out a ton in getting ready.
Please be patient following the round. It will take a few minutes to get things organized and handed out. We will work as quickly as possible.
I will have the hole assignments up either tonight or tomorrow morning. The link to find that is:
https://www.pdga.com/tour/event/65336
In regards to cards, we are going to go green going forward, and no more paper cards. Everything will be in PDGA live as far as course particulars go. That will be your place to see things as we are playing them. Whoever is keeping score, needs to be responsible and share those particulars on every hole.
Thanks and we will see you in the morning!

Good evening.
As we are a few days out from the first Crossover Crew 23 Tag round to kick things off, I wanted to get out some information.
Just a reminder that the round will be at Millikin on Saturday, 12/31 with a 10a shotgun start. A few things of note for you:
1. The ACE fund is included, which means there is a few bucks towards payouts. It will be very small, so don't come thinking you will win more than a Happy Meal at McDonalds. Ok joking, but the cost was $10, I am putting $3 towards the ace fund, then $7 to PDGA. So after the $2 a person PDGA fee, it will just be a few dollars towards payouts. Since this is so small, we will issue Crossover Cash vouchers to those who cash, but will not be bringing all the merchandise and so forth.
2. For those of you who are participating, but do not want a rating. We can make this work. Those who are not participating in the PDGA C-Tier rated round, you all will play on your own cards. Per PDGA, we cannot mix "casual/non participating" with those in the PDGA component. Not a big deal for tag rounds. After the completion of the rounds, we will collect all scores and then issue the tags from top to bottom.
We did offer divisions to help those who might have been wanting one last attempt for points for the 2022 year. The tags are the overall best scores, it is not division based in any way. For any ties, the higher rated player will break the tie. So if Player A who is rated 950 shoots 50, and Player B who is rated 900 shoots 50, Player A will receive the better tag.
We are excited about the day. It might be raining, so plan accordingly.
See you Saturday.
