In the players email sent out 5/17....
Below you will find all the information about the upcoming Crossover Cheryl's Choice 2 at Osage Grove DGC in Goshen, Ohio. We are super excited about this tournament and excited that you have registered to be part of it.
As we are a week out from the event, we just wanted to send out a players info email. Hopefully this will have everything in it to answer any questions you may have.
Sunday, May 23rd will be the event. It is going to be a 1 round event, with a shotgun start at 9a. We will play the regular layout, with a few fun temp holes. There will be 29 total holes. Most are very short, with a lot of ACE runs. The course flows really well, and will probably be at least 3 hour rounds. The temp tees will be marked with pink flags, and will have "next" signs where needed. The layout will be posted below.
At 815a by the blue tee for hole 1, local pros Matt Blakely and Nick Long will be doing a free clinic for all players who are interested. It's always great when higher level pros share there thoughts/advice/strategies with players who want to improve their games. Please take advantage of this opportunity, and thanks to these guys for being pros who are giving back.
Tournament central will be next to hole 1 blue tee. The schedule will look like this:
8-840a - Player Check In
840a - Brief players meeting
9a - Tee off
Immediately following will be Awards and Ace Throw Off if not hit during the round
For all players who are in the ACE Fund, if it is not hit, we will do a throw off and the ACE Fund will be split 60/40 with the 2 closest discs/players.
We will be using PDGA Live for all scoring, and then a secondary form of scoring per card (Udisc or paper copy). The PDGA Live access code is: cheryl
You should be able to see what hole you are starting on by Friday evening in PDGA event page.
There isn't much OB on the course with the layout we are playing. Below you will find the layout and OB.

I know some of you are going to want to know what par is for this layout. The par is set at 87. It is all par 3's.
Cards will be made of of 4-5 players. We will be mixing some divisions for the round, so know going in your card could
be different divisions.
We have decided to not do event tshirts, so we could add more to the payouts.
All Pro divisions will receive their payouts via PayPal and all AM's Crossover cash immediately following the completion of their divisions rounds. There will be merchandise on hand to exchange in the Crossover Cash.
It's going to be a great day. Thank you for signing up to be a part of it. We look forward to seeing you all Sunday. If for some reason you need to drop/withdraw, please do so by Thursday night at 8p to receive a full refund.
Please contact us with any questions you may have.
Thanks and have a great rest of your week,
