There will NOT be a player meeting before round one. Round one will start at 8:30am sharp. Give yourself enough time to get to your assigned hole at least a few minutes early. I will blow an air horn twice for the two minute warning and one long blast to start each round.
All Am's can pick up their player pack disc between 7:30am and 8:00am at the pavilion.
A Pool = MPO, MP50, MA1
B Pool = All other Amateur divisions
The A Pool will play the long baskets on holes 6, 8, 9, 13, 15, 16, and 17.
The B Pool will play the short baskets (classic layout) on holes 6, 8, 9, 13, 15, 16, and 17. Juniors will play only the first round.
I have added a map of the course layout to the pictures section. Thanks to Richard Rasch and Custom Course Maps for creating the map for this event!
All roads, parking lot, cul-de-sac, and fence lines are Out of Bounds. Hole 1 will be played as an island, defined by the wood surrounding the putting green, surrounded by a hazard area. If your disc does not come to rest on the island, the player will receive a one stroke penalty, but will continue from where their disc landed. We will play the water in the marsh on hole 18 as casual.
We will have side games of a ctp contest on holes 1 and 2, and a long putt contest on hole 3 each round. The flags will be left by the teepads for the first group that plays that hole to set out each round.
Please bring a charged phone and be ready to do digital scoring. Please have two players per card keeping score through PDGA live scoring. The web address for digital scoring is:
http://www.pdga.com/score
Or you can use the PDGA Live App
The event password is:
cgo
The scorers will enter their personal identification, which will pull up their whole card.
MAKE SURE TO SUBMIT & FINALIZE THE SCORES FOR EACH SCORER AFTER EACH ROUND! THIS IS AN IMPORTANT STEP!
There will NOT be a player meeting before round 2 either. I will send out another group email with the round 2 start time and hole assignments after the completion of round 1. If no one hits the optional ace pool, there will be a ctp throw off for the balance. We will have a small award ceremony after round 2 and possible ace pool throw off.
Ace pool and Pro payouts will be allocated via PayPal. Make sure that I have your correct PayPal email. Ams can redeem their merchandise payouts on site or in the future. Let me know if you have any questions. I am looking forward to the event!
