Thank you for signing up for the Clay West Flex Start Sponsored By Meier's Creek Brewing Company! It's incredible to see so many people in the field.
We've got a great day ahead of us tomorrow and that wouldn't be possible without our friends at Meier's Creek, Rapid Rivers Disc Golf, and Jake Hafner's Restaurant & Tavern. I encourage you to support the businesses that support us. Josh McClennon and RRDG have stocked up since their trip out for the East Flex. They'll have coffee, too, as always. And after your round, head down to Hafner's for food and drink.
All players must check in at least 20 minutes before their tee time. I'll be set up at the pavilion off Henry Clay Blvd (pull in behind 18 West's tee). Amateurs can pick up their players packs. Cash buy-ins for the ace pot will be taken (it's already over $625!). RRDG and the CNYDGA store will be on-site vending.
The CNYDGA will also have a 50/50 raffle going to raise funds for the expansion at Oxbow. The plan is to add a nine-hole loop between 13 and 14. Cash and PayPal are accepted. I'll draw a ticket live on CNY Disc Golf after all of the rounds wrap up.
We'll also be holding a Meier's Creek scramble challenge with all registered players getting one attempt to win beer or MCBC merch.
After wrapping up at tournament HQ, you'll need to walk or drive to Hole 1 in time to make your tee time. Please account for at least 10 minutes to do that.
Course OB (I'll be out early tomorrow morning to flag the rest of 8/9 and the drop zones)
Hole 7: OB long (flagged)
Hole 8: OB early right (flagged), tennis court, baseball field
Hole 9: OB left (flagged, standard), tennis court (mandatory DZ)
Hole 10: OB fenced in castle area (mandatory DZ on drive, standard on subsequent)
Hole 11: OB parking lot left, road long
Hole 12: OB road left, baseball field right
Hole 13: OB baseball field left
Hole 17:OB gravel lot left as defined by outside of stake line, basketball court long, gravel lot right
Hole 18: OB gravel lot left
CTPs for the day:
Hole 2: $150 gift card to RRDG (all amateurs)
Hole 5: $25 CTP (all pros)
Hole 16: $25 CTP (all pros)
