Hello Everyone!
Firstly, thank you to each and every one of you for choosing to spend your Saturday with us. We are looking forward to seeing you all with a day filled with disc golf.
TOURNAMENT CENTRAL
Tournament Central will be held in the parking lot between holes 1 and 10. Look for the RMDG tent and flags.
PARKING
There is a ton of parking with multiple parking lots. I would highly suggest everyone avoid parking near hole 18 as your vehicle is at risk of being struck by a disc.
BATHROOMS
Bathrooms will be available for use near TC in the daycare building.
SCHEDULE
Our daily schedule is as follows.
Player Check in: 7:30am - 8:30am
Player Meeting: 8:35am - 8:40am
Round 1: 9:00am shotgun start
Lunch: 12:00pm-ish. Lunch will officially start when the last card is turned in.
Round 2: Time will be announced.
CADDY BOOK
Caddy Book is uploaded under "photos".
MORNING CHECK IN
Every player needs to check in at the tent. If you do not check in, I do not know you are here and you will not be assigned to a card. This is where all ams will also pick up their player pack.
PLAYER MEETING
The player meeting should be fairly brief. I will run through some details from this email and run through the details of the course. Please make sure you are all in attendance.
ACE POOL
If ace pool is not hit, the funds will be added to the overall payout in all divisions.
SCORING
We will be prioritizing the use of live scoring. The password will be announced during the players meeting. To access live scoring, please visit. pdga.com/score. The PDGA has also recently created an app for Apple and Android to use as well. There will be paper scorecards available the morning of as a backup.
SPEED OF PLAY
Please be cognisant of your pace of play and those around you. Our goal is to run a very smooth, fun event with as few back ups as possible. Your time is valuable to me and I don't want to hold any of you up. Use the 3 minute lost disc rule. If you throw a disc into the pond or deep water, retrieve it after the round. Do not hold folks up.
AWARDS
Awards will be held as soon as possible after the second round at TC. Each division champion will receive a trophy plus payout. PRO payout will be done in cash while AMs will receive a voucher to use at the RMDG store immediately following the awards.
Each division champion will also be highlighted on a basket band at NCC which includes the division champion name and PDGA number(if applicable). Each champion band wrap will be displayed for a full year until next year's Clash at Nash. Once installed, a Facebook post will be made with photos on the RMDG facebook page.(fb.com/RockyMountDG). I will also send out an email to each winner with a photo.
