As we reviewed our course par it was evident that for quite a few holes (long tees) a player has to have a lot of shots in their bag in order to get a three. A few holes such as, 2, 12, and 15 will give a 950+ rated player a 4 most of the time. And the scorecards pretty much substantiated this. Along with the possibility of OB in the creek on eleven holes, and the tournament OB lines we believe par is no less than 57 from the long tees. The shorter distance to the basket might make a 3 a bit easier, but you still have throw good smart shots. A number of holes share long/short tees. Par from the short tees for this tournament is no less than 55. We're proud that the oldest Ohio course is still very challenging. Or....is it just a lot of fun?

Yes, what John said is correct. The ratings should change with the proper layouts in place for the different divisions. Although I know Mikey would be happy with those ratings he had.

just saw the scores on pdga website. I don't think round ratings reflect the difference between short and long tees. wouldn't mind the rating boost tho!! thx for a great tourny.

thanks! I wish my game could have kept up with the tournament. Lunch, dinner, a players pack that covered my entry fee, games and a beautifully manicured and cleaned up Roscoe.(albeit muddy, not your fault of course)

Thanks for you efforts and your time that you both put into the NEO area disc golf. We are all better due to your efforts.
