Just a little ways out for tomorrow's event. Please keep in mind that tournament central will be at the pavillion just after entering the park to the right. You will need to check in so that we know you are there and so that the Ams can pick up their players packs.
A big thanks to Jennifer Fechheimer and all of the PLX crew for getting the course ready and a special thanks for having us be a part of things. Jenn and Mark are also providing Subway lunch for lunch for everyone as well. Free for players and $5 for caddies. Lunch will be at tournament central as will payout at the end of the day.
At check in if you can get into the Ace/CTP pool if you did not do so at registration, cost is $5 with $2 going to the Ace fund and $3 to the Cash CTP. We pay out CTP's by division. MA1/MPO is one pool, Ma2, Ma3, Ma4 each have their own CTPs. MA40,50,60 is a group. And all women, this includes those women who play in MA divisions, so in essence, those women playing in a mixed division, have an extra CTP opportunity. If nobody hits an ace, we will have a throw off for the entire amount. Also at check in Marnie will have a board that shows the payouts, and has the Live scoring code, and tee assignments for the first round if you haven't already seen them. We also have a nice raffle with the grand prize being a Discraft Chainstar light basket. Plenty of other disc golf items and collectible discs as well. We draw during the first round and you'll be able to check your tickets at lunch. So no sticking around at the end if you don't need/want to.
All OB's are on the PDGA live scoring App. Remember everyone needs to keep a scorecard wether it be a paper card, Udisc or pdga app. At least one person in each group must use the PDGA live scoring. Please keep your pace as a group, while we will try to give everyone an hour break, that is not guaranteed. If you are part of a slow group, you may not get your full hour. We tend to keep things moving.
Ma1 and MPO will play long tees to short baskets both rounds. The exception will be on Hole #10 where they will play long tees to the long basket. Ma2 will play short tees to short baskets round one, and long tees to short baskets round two (exception being they will play to long basket on #10 both rounds). Everyone else plays short to short both rounds. Play to long basket on #10 first round and to the short basket on #10 second round. WE ARE USING SHORT BASKET TO THE RIGHT ON #17 both rounds.
We will not be having a players meeting, just check in and head to your holes. All info you need should be on the live scoring app. Any questions, you can address at check in. Thanks to you all, we look forward to seeing you in the morning. Drive safely!
