Good afternoon. I am super excited that you signed up to be part of our "Cedar Grove 39er" at the Cedar Grove on Sunday, 6/8/2025. This will be a 3 round PDGA C-Tier. We will do a shotgun start at 930a sharp.
Our address is: 21208 Meadow Lane, Sunman, IN 47041. We are on a shared gravel driveway, and our house is the first RIGHT driveway off of it. There is a little planter that sort of looks like a disc golf basket.
If you haven't ever done a 13 hole PDGA event, it is the minimum allowed to be PDGA rated. They are quick and rate well. We will have 3 rated rounds done by lunch time.
Players will play the same 13 holes from 3 separate tee pads: 1, 2, 4, 7, 9, A, B, C, D, 13, 16, 18, 19
Round 1 Green (shorts)
Round 2 Purple (intermediate)
Round 3 Blue (longs)
It's important that following each round, that all players finalize their rounds, then get started on the next round.
Cheryl and I will be at tournament central which will be the South end of the garage (furthest from the house). I will post hole assignments around 9p on the night before the event day. They will be found at:
https://www.pdga.com/tour/event/93349
Here is the schedule of events. The schedule will look like this:
The day will look like this:
845-915a - registration
930a - Rounds 1, 2, and 3 back to back to back
@1230p Awards and payouts
We will be using PDGA Live for all scoring, and a reminder that everyone needs to keep score now (PDGA live, Udisc or paper copy). The PDGA Live access code is: cedar68
The OB here is pretty simple for this layout. It's pretty much: island on hole 1, then over/beyond any fence and/or orange stakes, or surrounded by water in pond
Ideally we will have divisions of at least 3, but are flexible due to the lower amount of the field at events at our house. Cards will be made of of primarily 3-4 players. Depending on numbers, we may have to mix some divisions. We will do our best to make sure everyone is with at least 1 person from their division.
In the event there is a tie, we will have the playoff start on HOLE 1 and go until there is a winner. They will play the exact same layout we played the 2nd round (Purple).
It is on each player to know the PDGA rules and guidelines. It is on each card to make sure you are on the appropriate tee. It's easy to go to the wrong hole sometimes, so make sure the card confirms they are on the correct tee pad for each hole.
It's going to be a great day. Again, we are excited that you are going to join us.
See you at the course!
Josh and Cheryl Terwilleger
