Good evening. We wanted to send out some info in regards to the event tomorrow. I apologize for the delay.
Thanks for signing up to play "Cedar Grove 101 -Purple" event with us on 9/3 at Cedar Grove. The event will be 2 rounds, and is a PDGA C tier. We will throw the Purple layout both rounds.
When you come to our house, the address is 21208 Meadow Lane, 47041. Our driveway is a shared driveway. Ours is the first driveway to the RIGHT. You will see a little planter that looks like a disc golf basket with our address on it. Look to the right and that's it.
For the day, we have a lot of fun planned. It will be a shotgun start at 10a. Check in will be inside the garage starting at 915a. When you arrive, I will be outside to help you get parked. For those who have to park in the yard, it isn't bad and we do it at all our events.
For lunch, by the gracious generosity of several of the players, lunch will be provided. And cold drinks as well.
There is an ACE fund included in your entry fee. If there are no aces hit, then we will do a throw off on hole 1. It's always a fan favorite. In the event of a tie for first, the players will start on hole 1 and follow the round 1 layout until there is a winner.
All hole and course particulars will be in PDGA live. Please feel free to use the tee signs for reference, but PDGA live is what we will go by, which might be slightly different than what is on the signs. The passcode for the event is: purple94
There have been some adjustments over the past few weeks. Most all of them make the course easier and better for the players.
The cards will be made up primarily of 3's and 4's both rounds. There is a lot of OB and such, but keep others in mind with your pace of play.
Hole assignments will be posted Saturday PM. If you want to withdraw, to receive a refund, it must be submitted by 8p Saturday night. You can find them here:
