This is a Sanctioned PDGA C-Tier event, all PDGA Rules will be followed. This includes no drug use, and no Alcohol consumed from the two minute warning, and until your scorecard is submitted.
PDGA Live Scoring password is: Nippy
It will be a bit nippy to begin. Winds out of the WSW through the day as it warms to above average temps (10-25+ degrees by end of final round)
OB rules will be posted in the PDGA App. OB's include roped off golf green areas, the wire and timber fencing along Garfield on the North end of the property, beyond the flagged area on the right of 17, beyond the netting on 18, and over the sidewalk behind Hole 18. The swamp around the lake will be casual, if you are in the MIDDLE of the lake, with 0 swamp grass, well then, you are OB. Also, the green area left and behind 17's green is OB. This will be updated in the PDGA app.
There is 1-2" snow on the course; carts would be fine IMHO.
As usual, it is okay to tee from the sides at The Cedars. Beware of slippery spots in the early AM, and possibly as some snow begins to melt towards the end of the day.
Please, PLease, PLEASE if you think you may have thrown a shot in the cattails/reeds, take a provisional shot before walking around the lake. This will help keep the pace of play. Catails will be considered Casual, you may tee off behind them if you wish with no penalty throw added.
All Players must keep score! If you need a scorecard, check in with us prior to your round. Not only do you need to keep score, but if you keep score NOT on the PDGA App, you NEED TO SHOW PROOF TO Anthony or I! If not, a Two stroke penalty will be applied. For those keep score digitally, please, please double check to make sure your round is completed before you shut your phone off.
This is a Flex Start Event. You signed up for your tee time when you registered. If you only have 2 players at your tee time, you will not be able to play without a third. See Anthony or I and we will help you out.
Check in will be in the Clubhouse, specifically in the East Room off the Tavern Restaurant.
Payouts:
All Players receive a burger and a beer basket with entry. The kitchen expands their hours for our events, if you have a later tee time, please make plans to receive and redeem your burger basket BEFORE you tee off. If you finish your round after 4, don't dink around, come in and get your burger, enjoy some laughs, TIP YOUR WAITER/RESS and go home.
All Am players will receive a players pack. This year, we are going back to the BYO players pack. Dan will have over 1,000 discs and accessories to choose from for your players packs. Discs include event discs and some stock stamps. I have a fresh order of Innova discs stamped with a 2024/25 season stamp on them. I also have new Cedars printed T-Shirts available as part of the players pack redemption.
There are no payouts for this event for am players.
ALSO!!! We will offer a BYO Mystery Box! Options include 5 discs for $50 or 10 for $100!!! See Anthony or Dan for details.
All Pro players will be paid out after the event in paypal or venmo; if you need cash, please let me know when I contact you for payouts.
IF the ace pool is hit, Dan will reach out to you for payout after the event.
Layout: We will play all long pins; The Layout is on UDisc as 2023 redesign. If you have questions, please ask before you make a mistake.
