Why Aren? You know this doesn't make sense. How are you going to know if you have 3 players if you don't open the division. Just doesn't make any sense. Please reconsider. Look you have all the divisions for the am side. Please give me a call to talk this through. Something doesn't make sense.

Guessing this is based on the registration/turnout in these divisions over the last several years and not wanting to have a bunch of single player divisions? Looking back at last few years results, in 2022 there was no one playing an age protected pro division, in 2023 there was 1 player and last year there was 3. PDGA rules leave it up to the TD to determine which divisions are offered, see rule 2.02 L

Hi Caleb, I was able to go back several years and look a the tournament results. As I thought, at least 5 of the current divisions open on the am side didn't have any players. Would you post on other club sites like PFC and St. Louis asking if other MPO 50 players may be interesting playing in the MPO 50 division? This would help me out in getting at least 2 more players. Scott, we'll post around the state and St. Louis like we always do. You know how often people sign up closer to the event. It would be great to have full divisions, including MP50. This scenario played out last year where Keo was the only MP50 player. Hopefully we have others interested this year.

I'm not sure what you're talking about when it comes to divisions that didn't have any players. Are you talking about the women's divisions and junior divisions? I would love to have more women sign up - it's something we need to do a better job of. But all of the men's am divisions had at least a full card.

Aren, can you please explain why you are not opening up MPO division. You didn't answer that question. Yes I was talking about the women's and juniors divisions. So do you see how this doesn't make sense of you opened those divisions but not other pro divisions. I would suggest opening the MPO division, letting me register and if we don't get 3 MPO then I would to MPO 40.

Just an FYI, any PDGA tournament that offers a division for men’s divisions is required to offer that equal division on the women’s side.
