*UPDATE*

We will be playing Alternate 6 on the road. I have it flagged and painted. Do not play original 6. This will show on your digital scorecards as well

Welcome to the 2024 Capital City Challenge. This will serve as your players meeting.

We are playing 2 rounds of 21 today with a break for lunch in-between.

MA3 and MA4 are playing the short pads on 5, 6, B, 12, 13 and 14. Short pads are marked by flags on their corresponding holes. Notes are also on the PDGA Digital Scorecard as well.

MA1, 2 and MA40 will be playing from the long pads for each hole.

This is a sanctioned event, so every player has to keep score on their own card.

It appears hole 8 OB pond and creek are not listed

Mike Kemp   May 12 at 3:21am

Good catch. We should be fine for digital tomorrow and I’ve got it listed there. I printed paper on lists as well for each card. It will also be there.

We don't have a 3rd person so far. How do we proceed?

Nevermind he just showed up.

Is this tourney going to go as planned even with the low numbers? Because I am looking at joining but just wanted to make sure first.

I’m not TD but I would say it’s definitely still going to happen. Sign up!

Wesley Shinevar   May 10 at 5:27pm

Yep! We are a go

Mike Kemp   May 10 at 5:34pm

Sign up! We are still hosting the event. We do need 3 for a division to physically occur so any of the current divisions you see registrants in or round up a couple peeps to create another one.

I would have loved to play this tournament, but it is on Mother's Day. Perhaps next year it is moved to a weekend where there isn't such a large conflict.

I get it completely. Unfortunately events this size don’t always get to choose the date. We request a date but the state schedule for every sanctioned event in Michigan is set all at once. Fingers crossed we get a different weekend next year.
