A round for Kai
First and foremost this day was all for Kai. What an incredible showing of love and community on display Saturday. This all came together on a short time frame. It is remarkable the level of serendipity and fortune that allowed this all to happen.
We did it guys! 78 players. We filled that course up +6. Every hole had either a ctp flag or a long putt flag. The raffle donations were rolling in. So many thank yous to be made. The amount of generosity flowing was truly astounding. This was all for Kai.
We played discgolf. There were many laughs. Some of us wasted our mulligans in shame. Others ran all the way back up that hill to get another shot. Smiling faces everywhere. People cheering each other on. Love and support.
Gratitude to each and every one of you.
Cecelia Pachmayer brought several nice raffle donations, fed us all a really nice lunch. Cold pops and chips along with some apples and bananas to keep up our energy to traverse the Mnt chilson. I heard it is almost as tall as Mnt Pingree.
Jonathan Templin has been wonderful to have sitting alongside keeping us on track.
Not only did Stephie Curry do a kick ass job running the raffle, she also provided the trophies Stephie's Customs that went to a tie for 1st at 44 between Christiaan Stephen Deasy / Jason Soz Trout /Stu Allen Mark Ellis / Dennis Kelly Jared Clemens/ Nick Carpenter 3rd. She also had some nice items for donation. Seth Szekera helped me with reg, Spagnuolo and Dave Dirmeyer were giving jp a hand. Matthew Wysocki helping with the raffle and adding 18 discs to ctp, Tyler was helping. Nicholas Shooltz with setup
So many raffle donations too.
Grunlund, Dave Wessel, George Beno, Phil Common, Jen Trombley, Team Zombie, Disc Teez Disc Golf Pro Shop, Nathan Lindley, Stacy Coos homemade candles, Jerry Chilly Chilson and so many others. There are so many more. Thank all of you so much! The raffle was and raised over $900.
The open donations were flowing in too. A nice young woman named Serena opened with a very generous $200. Will Washes, Nana Cece, one of the teams donated 100. Seth Szekera, Josh, Jim, Jenna Leith, Dirmeyer, Brian, Team Liz, Matt, and Paris. We also added the ace bounty in.
Thank you all so much. Your efforts raised another $1150
75% of the team buy ins went to the kitty.
100% of purchased mulligans went to the cause. 78 players and 63 mulligan packs
This is incredible ladies and gentlemen.

Total fundraising $3870
But its not about the money. It is the love for Kai. It was beautiful. Disc golf family taking care of one another. Thanks for reading the long post. So much more could be said about the day. It was truly special.
