The registration period for the Camellia City Classic benefiting St. Jude Children's Research Hospital brought to you by NO Team is over, which means that it is officially tournament time!

As such, groupings and hole assignments for the first round at 9a tomorrow morning are posted on the PDGA event website now. See here for your round one hole assignment:

The inaugural Camellia City Classic benefiting St. Jude Children's Research Hospital is this Saturday, October 30, at Fritchie Park in Slidell, Louisiana. This year's tournament is brought to you by NO Team:

Thank you for registering for the tournament! We are excited to host this PDGA sanctioned charity event in our home town and on our home course. We look forward to meeting you on Saturday, which should be a beautiful day according to the latest weather forecast.

LOCATION

Fritchie Park
905 W Howze Beach Rd, Slidell, LA 70458

Parking and public restrooms are available near the gym at Fritchie Park. Tournament headquarters will be located near the blue tee box on hole two.

FORMAT

The tournament is a two-round affair with a lunch break sponsored by Pizza Platoon in the middle of the day following the conclusion of the first round. There will be a players meeting at 8:30a on Saturday morning. First round tee time is set for 9a. The second round will start at least an hour after the conclusion of the first round.

Novice and Juniors will play both rounds from the red tees. Recreational and Intermediate will play one round from the blue tees and one round from the red tees. Pro and Advanced will play both rounds from the blue tees.

PDGA live scoring will be used for the event. First round cards will be announced on Friday, so look out for another email from me tomorrow with the link and access code to the PDGA live scoring site for the tournament.

Trophies will be awarded to winners for each division with at least two participants. This year's trophies are custom-dyed Innova Star Destroyers made by local disc golfer and artist Kris Clavier.

All registered players will receive a raffle ticket at the check-in table before the first round begins. Raffle items will be given away after the second round ends. Players must be present to win!

Just wanted to let y'all know that we decided to change the format slightly. The Recreational division now will play one round from blue and one round from red.

Here is the format in its entirety:

We are going to award trophies to any division with at least TWO registrants now. It was three originally.

For divisions with less than two registrants, players will have two options:

1. Switch to a similar division
2. Stay in division with no prize awarded
