Yes. An email, Instagram, and Facebook post were all sent. All refunds have been issued. The email reads as follows: To all players, club members, sponsors, and supporters;

Due to the high probability of adverse conditions leading up to and during the Camden Remembers charity fundraiser tourname ... more

Yeah they issued refunds. After that I don't know.

Done!

I’ve decided to run this event. With fewer than 30 players registered I’ll likely have to reduce the number of trophies to first place only and I have to leave it up to Wing-n-It Savannah as to whether he still wants to come. There will definitely be mixed cards. I’ll still bring all the raffle stuff and the charity CTP Black Hole Pro that Savage DG donated. Thanks to those who stepped up to support this cause!

Love,
KMill

If you need to shuffle around divisons, I personally don't have any issue. Whatever you need, I'm down

Kevin Miller    August 24, 2022 at 7:50pm

Ok Folks. First, if you’ve already registered, thank you! However, it’s crunch time. We need 30 players to register by Friday 8/26/22 at midnight in order to continue to offer this event. Please help me promote a registration drive so we can do this thing.

What hotels are offering a discounted rate?

Thanks for signing up! We haven’t got that yet. We’re still working on it. I’ll post if/when we get news.

Hi there, random question…if a player can only play one day of a two day tournament, do you still get your points and rating for that round? Also random, do you’ll plan to report scores before midnight on 9/11 so they will be counted toward the September pdga ratings update? Thank you

The completed round gets a rating but no points are issued

Is this a singles or doubles event? I thought XC meant doubles but could be totally wrong

This is a Singles event. I am not sure how that happened. I will contact the PDGA and see if it should be corrected to a C-Tier.

Kevin Miller   June 16, 2022 at 5:52pm

The state coordinator replied to me. Events run under the PDGA competition endowment program are sanctioned as X because of the reduced payout. Apparently the X is used in a variety of ways to designate something that is not a straight letter tier tournament. It doesn’t only mean doubles. Now we both know!
