I am a novice player and I noticed I signed up for recreational. Is it to late to swap to play in the novice division?

Anthony I see that so am playing with my friends in recreational so please don’t switch me over to novice. I am happy with recreational. Thanks

Anthony Davis   February 17, 2021 at 4:19pm

Hey Brad, no problem at all.

Anthony Davis    February 14, 2021 at 11:51pm

I wanted to let everybody know that even if you didn’t have an option for a players pack you will still receive one. It will be two disc.

Is there a wait list

Anthony Davis   February 14, 2021 at 11:50pm

Hey Brandon, their is a waitlist. I may be able to get you in but I can’t guarantee a players pack on the day of tournament.

Is this a PDGA sanctioned even? It is not on UDisc.

J.D. Shell   February 12, 2021 at 2:43am

No it is not sanctioned. It is a fundraiser event.

Anthony Davis   February 12, 2021 at 3:26pm

Hey Caeden, like JD said, not sanctioned but I will have it on UDisc for scoring purposes by the tournament date.

As I was playing through the course I noticed some new white topped dynamic disc pins in the long positions. Will those be the ones used in the tournaments or will we be sticking to just the short positions for all of them.

Anthony Davis   February 10, 2021 at 2:30pm

Hello, we will not be using the white long pins. Just the short positions. The only pin that will be in long position is 3.

Am I required to be a veteran to play in this tourney?

J.D. Shell   February 9, 2021 at 3:53am

No, anyone can play. There is a division that is only for Veterans and active military, but there are divisions for everyone else as well.

Russell Briley    February 8, 2021 at 4:02pm

I notice many have a PDGA membership, is that required (or even recommended) or is it just preference for the membership benefits it offers?

Anthony Davis   February 9, 2021 at 7:49pm

Hey Russell, it is not a requirement. It is just a preference for most.

What position will hole 1, 7, 11 be in ?

Anthony Davis   February 6, 2021 at 10:03pm

Hey Seth, They will all be in the short position. The only hole that will be in long position is 3.

Seth Owen   February 9, 2021 at 11:11pm

Awesome. What will par be on hole 11?

Seth Owen    February 3, 2021 at 9:22pm

I'm guessing you can't play this course during the week while school is in session correct?

Ed Hoffman   February 3, 2021 at 9:47pm

acutally, that is one of the best times to play it. if you can go during school hours, you should be able to play any pad or pin position you want.

Seth Owen   February 4, 2021 at 3:54am

Ok. I wasn't sure if there were certain holes they wouldn't allow you to play during hours

Matt Mitchell    February 3, 2021 at 8:57am

What tees are veteran males playing from?

Anthony Davis   February 5, 2021 at 2:33pm

Hey Matt, all divisions will be playing from the blue tee pads (shorts) and most pins will be in short position but there might be a little bit of a mix in there. All pins will be in tournament layout 1 week out from tournament, although most should be there now.

Matt Mitchell   February 6, 2021 at 2:42am

My buddy Robby wants me to move to Novice, is that ok?

Matt Mitchell   February 6, 2021 at 3:23am

NM I figured out how to do it. See you there.

Ed Hoffman    February 1, 2021 at 10:30pm

Do you know what pads/ pin positions we will be playing for this tourney?

Anthony Davis   February 2, 2021 at 3:59am

The plan is short tee pads to short pins. There may be a few in the long position but I will know more by this weekend.

J.D. Shell    December 31, 2020 at 1:11am

Is this going to be a flex start or shotgun start event?

Anthony Davis   December 31, 2020 at 8:46pm

As of right now this will be a shotgun start. I should have the schedule posted on the next couple of weeks.
