About this tournament

Celebrating Canadian women disc golfers! This event is part of a nation-wideevent called the Canadian Women's Event (CWE). CWE's across Canada will take place in the months of May and June and a Canadian ranking system will be created for all participants. NDG is proud to host the CWE this year!
If you have never played disc golf before, or just began throwing, a tournament might seem like an impossible or intimidating event. However, this event is more about celebrating women's accomplishment in sport, our disc golf journey and getting to meet more female disc golfers than competing. For anyone who has participated in a "fun run", "Foam" or "Mud" event, this will have a similar feel. To help facilitate youth and newcomers to the sport, beginners and juniors will complete one round.
For this event, we will be mindful when forming groups and try to put players together that we think will be a good fit (if they don't know each other). Furthermore, if you are a bit hesitant and you're signing up with other people, let us know. We will do our best to put cards together so that you can play with a friend. We will be hosting a beginners league at our course again this May-June. We hope you'll join us there!
Your round score(s) will be uploaded along with other participants from across the country, which may qualify you for a national award in your age category or skill level. There will be prizes and trophies awarded at the local level for all ages and skill levels.
This event is supported in part by the CWE Committee and PDGA Canada. Thanks to PDGA Canada, the $10 non-membership fee for non-PDGA members has been waived for this event.
THERE ARE A LIMITED NUMBER OF PLAYERS PACKS. These can be purchase in addition to the registration fee. REGISTER EARLY TO GET YOURS! The CWE players pack contains a premium plastic Latitude 64 custom stamped tournament disc, a custom G.O.A.T. towel with the event logo, sticker, and a surprise Throw Pink gift. The players pack is valued at over $50!
In addition to the great players pack, we will also have CTP prizes, draws, raffles, and a selection of discs for purchase. Water will be provided for players.
