DAVIS! Hope to see you tomorrow, brah! Everyone else...we'll play a 11:00am..ish round on the TOBO. Format and buy in TBD, we'll decide tomorrow. After the round we'll set up CHAINS, beginning 3ish. It'll bee a casual putting contest and picnic. We'll play several different games, random draw partners for $1-$2 buy in per game. Since it's a putting picnic there will be emphasis on flexibility so players can come and go as they please. I'm gonna bring a bag of charcoal, lighter fluid and a propane grill. It'll bee BYOB and eats. If you decide to come out and have a basket we can use, please bring it out. Never can have to many putting pits. CHAINS motto is 'Be Nice or LEAVE!' PEACE

I'll bring out a bag of charcaol and lighter fluid as well as a propane grill. The picnic will be BYOB and food or potluck if you'd like to bring a dish to share. I wouldn't play in the tournament either way, but the decline of DGLO as a prestigious tournament is comical. It used to be a premier event with some of the top pros attending. No I'm not talking about 10 years ago, I mean 3 years ago. Kevin, you need people who are willing to put in the time to bring it back to a premier status, although a well run LP Open could squash any chance of that.

Not sure how you fix the payouts, but maybe talk to Larry or Bruce. There's obviously a trade-off between putting new courses in the ground and making players happy. I would argue it maybe shifted too far to new courses and you have deterred players from playing your tournaments.

Anways, this being a EMDG event and all should make it the shit and i will bee sad to not attend. I will be playing in my local B-tier

As far as the plastic payouts at No-Foolin. I suggest you talk to the PDGA, because nothing that was done violated the PDGA suggested payouts. And we even bumped up the payouts from what was suggested. Yes there was the problem with 1 division, but we tried to take care of it after the spreadsheet was re-checked. Rooster, Do you have a suggestion on how that could have been handled differently, or do you still want to complain about a tournament you didn't even play in.
Yes I admit it A3 has had a poor reputation in the past. Thats one of the reason I wanted on the board to see how things were done and why they were done a certain way. And trust me I'll be the first one to stand up and say something if there is anything shady going on. But like I said I have seen nothing that is different than other clubs are doing. People just seem to focus on A3 for some reason.

Anyway, short of telling people to not go to Joe's picnic. I do ask that everyone try to play in DGLO. There was alot of work to boost the player pack this year. I plan to register and I doubt I'll even be able to play since my daughter is due on that day. And if I can play, its great that Gabris and all those so called good AM1s aren't playing. leaves me a better chance at getting one of those Am Nat invitations.

please KW, i request fewer new courses paid for and installed by a3 in the future. with the money a3 saves by not paying for any more courses, all the really good am1's could now receive 10-15% more plastic for tournament payouts.

The only stragglers it will pick up will be the Sunday dubz crowd. The time is gonna bee moved back to the later afternoon ass well.
