Good Evening and thank you for registering for CADL Presents: The 21st Annual Buckhorn Open



First and foremost thanks to CADL, Jay Pontier and the Harris Lake County Parks staff for all they do. Be sure to tell them "THANK YOU" when you see them this weekend.



Park Rules - Prohibited Items include Alcoholic beverages, Tobacco and vapor products, Illicit Drugs

These are park rules and as such are tournament enforced.



Gates Open at 8:00AM. DO NOT arrive early and block the gate. Check-In will start shortly after 8:00AM and will close at 9:00AM. Tee Time will be at 9:15AM

Parking



Park in Designated parking spaces only. Street side parking is prohibited in the park. In addition to the Main Course Parking Lot there is designated parking across the street. The map below shows the parking areas in yellow and the pathway between in Green.

The Park has brought in one portable toilet that will be located in the main parking lot. Additional Facilities are located in the main park and a Map will be available at the Check-In Table.

After arriving you must come and Check In - Otherwise you will be removed before the event starts. There will be no formal players meeting - once you check in, you can head to your starting hole.

Warm up is permitted on the course until the 2 minute warning before the first round on Saturday. For the second round and Sundays round Hole 0 is available for warm up.

For Round 1: The 2 Minute horn will blow at 9:13AM. This will be two long horn blasts. Start will blow at 9:15AM. This will be a single long horn blasts. In both cases, please pass the word along through the course.



Scoring

All groups will use PDGA Digital Scoring

The Password is: BO2022

At least Two members on your card must keep score.

NOTE: PDGA Live Scoring allows multiple players to keep score and will notify all scorekeepers on the card if a discrepancy between scorecards occurs.

At the end of each round the PDGA Digital Scorecard must be confirmed by all players on the card.



Layouts

All Star Layout Tee Boxes will be marked with White Flags. Long Tee Pads will be marked with Blue Flags. For holes that use Long Tee Pads for All Star Layout and Holes that only have one Tee Pad they will be marked with both a White and Blue Flag.

Round 1 will be All Star Layout. Basket 1 will be in the Short position

Round 2 will be All Star Layout. Basket 1 will be in the Long position.

Round 3 (Sunday) will be all Long Tee’s. Basket 1 will be in the Long position.

After you have completed the first round AND VERIFIED AND CONFIRMED YOUR SCORE - we will have a 1 hour period of lunch based on the LAST CARD.

The second round start time will be posted at Tournament Central, as well as on CADL's Facebook page, and as a Comment on DiscGolfScene feedback page.



Sundays Final Round will be Tee Time Start and Tee Times will be posted no later than 8:00 PM Saturday Night and will be available on the PDGA Event Page https://www.pdga.com/tour/event/56310





OB’S



OB’S are marked through the course utilizing Orange flags and OB Notes are in the Digital Scorecard. The notes also include Drop Zone options where applicable as well as a note about the casual relief area on Hole 15



Lunch – Fellow Disc Golfer, John Nelson, will be there with his food truck The Sandwich Man LLC and will be taking pre-orders before the start of round 1. Avoid the rush at the end of round by getting your pre-orders in before you head out to your starting Tee. I have attached a Menu for this weekend.



You do NOT have to check back in for round 2. Locate your starting hole on the PDGA event page and go directly there. The two minute and start procedure will be the same.



You will be required to check in again on Sunday for the final round which is Tee Time Start.



There will be trophies for First Place in all Five Divisions.

Payout and ace pool will be sent via paypal to the address used at sign up no later than 48 hours after the completion of the event.
