There will NOT be a player meeting; this email and its contents will take the Player Meeting's place.
PLEASE READ ALL DETAILS CAREFULLY.
DAY OF EVENT:
All players have been assigned a Tee time. These can be viewed on the Offical PDGA page for the event located at
https://www.pdga.com/tour/event/45965 .
You need to arrive early enough to check in at the Tournament Central 10 minutes before your Tee time. AT this time you will be required to sign a COVID waiver for the event. The language of that waiver is as follows:
EVENT PARTICIPANT COVID-19 WAIVER:
"I understand that participation in this event carries with it risk of injury or death and I, on behalf of myself, my heirs, administrators, executors, and assigns expressly release, forever discharge, and hold harmless ,CADL Summer 2020 Quarterly Hosted by Fly Guy Disc Golf, Capitol Area Disc League, Fly Guy Disc Golf, HANNABLE MCGARITY and the PDGA (the "Releasees") for all personal injury, loss, damage to property, or death in connection with my participation in this event. Further, I understand and acknowledge that there currently exists a global pandemic associated with the disease COVID-19, that I am participating in this event at my own risk, that any safety precautions designed to protect against the spread of COVID-19 undertaken by the Releasees does not guarantee I will not contract COVID-19, and that, the foregoing notwithstanding, it is my specific intent to affirm my foregoing release of the Releases with respect to any personal injury, loss, damage to property, or death I may experience from COVID-19 in connection with my participation in this event."
Next you will need to be ready to be on time to TEE 1 at your TEE time.
We are playing 18 total holes. We will NOT be playing Hole 11.
They holes being played are:
1, 1A, 1B, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9
, 10, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17 and 18.
Everyone will be playing the LONG tees on all holes that feature them, EXCEPT on hole 9 .
On Hole 9 the MPO, MA1, FA1 and MA40 will play the LONG tee.
On Hole 9 the MA2 and MA3 will play the SHORT tee.
Players who play longs and go OB will have the choice of playing regular OB rules ( where it was last inbounds - OR - progressing to the SHORT tee for their next throw.)
ALL OTHER HOLES - ALL DIVISIONS PLAY LONG PADS WHERE AVAILABLE.
13 and 14 will be indicated by temporary signage.

We will be using the PDGA Live Scoring App. The code for the event is JonesQTRLY. You access it by going to

All of the OB information for each hole should be on the Live Scoring App, in a shorthand version. Please read all of the OB below, and if you have any questions ask them when you check in at Tournament Central.
COURSE NOTES / OB’S
Please note that OB for one hole is OB for any hole (i.e. you go in 9’s lake from hole 8, you are still OB!)
1 – OB: pond on the right side, parking lot, & inside the fenced in area where the water tower resides. Note: There are flags still in the ground around the pond. Play surrounded by water as OB and disregard the flags.
AFTER HOLE 1, PROCEED TO THE LEFT & CROSS OVER THE ENTRANCE STREET TO HOLE 1A.
1A – Inside the school fence on the left & road and beyond (right side of fairway)
1B – Road & beyond (right side of fairway) and inside the fenced in area where the water tower resides.
AFTER HOLE 1B, PROCEED TO THE LEFT BEHIND THE WATER TOWER FENCE LINE TO HOLE 2.
2 – Pond on the right side of the fairway surrounded by water. Note: There are flags still in the ground around the pond. Play surrounded by water as OB and disregard the flags. All the house's property (left and beyond of the house's fencelines (left side of fairway). Note: There is one house that does not have a fence. This house without a fence will be defined by flags (left and beyond) and will connect to the other house's fences.
3 – No OB
4 – No OB – all creeks on this hole are considered casual water.
5 – Houses on the right side of the fairway are OB and the line is defined by their property. There will be no OB flags so make a group decision. All creeks on this hole are considered casual water.
6 - All creeks on this hole are considered casual water. Gravel road past the basket and beyond (gravel road is on the right side of fairway).
7 – The fenceline on the right side of the fairway. Play the same OB as hole 2 w/ fences and flags defining the line. All creeks on this hole are considered casual water.
8 – Pond beyond the basket surrounded by water is OB. Note: There are flags still in the ground around the pond. Play surrounded by water as OB and disregard the flags.
9 – The pond is OB. Note: There are flags still in the ground around the pond. Play surrounded by water as OB and disregard the flags. For players teeing from the long tees, all drives that are OB have the option of playing from last place in bounds, re-throwing or proceeding to the short tee with a one thrown penalty. All throws that are OB from subsequent shots or from the short tee play normal OB rules.
10 – Light pole behind outfield (right side of fairway) is a mando left. If you miss the Mando proceed to the white pad with a 1 stroke penalty. Inside the baseball field is OB. The pond on the left side of the fairway is OB surrounded by water. Over the fence beyond the basket (School grounds) is OB.
11 – YOU WILL NOT PLAY HOLE 11. THE BASKET HAS BEEN PULLED DUE TO AN EROSION PROJECT.
AT THIS POINT PROCEED WALKING PATH, TAKE A RIGHT DOWN TO THE WALKING PATH, AND ON THE RIGHT SIDE ~150 FEET DOWN THE PATH YOU WILL ENTER THE WOODLINE ON THE RIGHT SIDE TO PLAY HOLE 13.
13- THERE IS ONLY ONE TEE PAD CURRENTLY. OB IS DEFINED AS SURROUNDED BY WATER (PONDS ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF FAIRWAY) & INSIDE THE PROPERTY OWNERS FENCELINES (NEAR THE GREEN/BASKET AREA).
14- THERE IS ONLY ONE TEE PAD CURRENTLY. This will be playing to a WHITE Temporary Basket. OB IS DEFINED AS SURROUNDED BY WATER (PONDS ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF FAIRWAY) & INSIDE THE PROPERTY OWNERS FENCELINES (NEAR THE GREEN/BASKET AREA).
AFTER FINISHING HOLE 13 PROCEED TO HOLE 14.
15 – All creeks on this hole are casual. On or beyond the right side of the fairway of the walking path is OB.
16 - All creeks on this hole are casual. On or beyond the asphalt walking trail (left side of fairway and past the green/basket) is OB. If your disc lands in the pond past the green/basket, you are OB.
17 - All creeks on this hole are casual.
18 - All creeks on this hole are casual. Inside the playground (defined by fence, concrete block and sidewalk) is OB. On or beyond the asphalt walking trail is OB. If your disc lands in the pond past the green/basket , you are OB. Parking lot is OB.
Finishing Up:
Am payout will be immediately following the completion of each division.
Pro payout will be paid immediately at completion of each division.
