About this tournament
For this event, all proceeds will be sent directly to the UNC Children's Hospital and go directly to families patients in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, also called the NICU. The NICU houses the most sick babies and UNC's specifically hosts the sickest of the sick. Tournament Director Robert Leonard's son spent 76 days there as did CADL President Jay Pontier's oldest child.
For this event, we will be play a unique hole layout at Diavolo
The Layout:
1 - White
2 - White
3 - Blue
4A - Blue tee to temp basket before trees in the middle of the fairway. Distance is 294.
4B - A temp tee in the middle of the fairway before the drop off to the normal basket position. Distance is 258.
5 - White
6 - Blue
7 - Blue
8 - White
9 - Blue
10 - One tee.
11 - White
12 - Blue
13 - White
14 - One tee
15 - White
16 - Blue
17 - Blue
18 - White
19A - Blue tee to a temp basket down the middle of the fairway. Distance is 250.
19B. A temp tee on the back left side that forces you down the back fairway to the regular basket. Distance is 269.
20A - Blue tee to the a temp basket on the right hand fairway. Distance is 230.
20B -the red tee (marked with flags) to the normal basket. Distance is 336.
