CADL Inc. is proud to welcome you to the 25th Annual Buckhorn Open!! It's crazy to look back on the history of this event and think about the players who have taken part over the last quarter-century. You won't want to miss your chance to take part in this milestone event!
The 2026 Buckhorn Open will host Amateur Divisions on February 21-22, and Pro Divisions February 28 - March 1. New this year, the winners of MA1 and FA1 during the Am side weekend will receive free entry into MPO/FPO for the Buckhorn Pro the following weekend, to test their skills against the area's best!
This Amateur-only event is a 3-round PDGA B-tier, so all players must be an active PDGA member to register. Saturday will consist of two rounds shotgun start, and Sunday will have one round of tee times. All players will be provided a hot lunch on Saturday between rounds as their “player pack”, with remaining net entry fees going to payout (top 45% of field) via digital vouchers to Another Round Raleigh! We are trying this format out based on feedback from many players in the community over the last year or two - a lower than typical entry fee and a greater focus on payout vs unwanted player pack items.
Entry Fee Breakdown Transparency ($40)
--$4 PDGA per player fee
--$4 TD fee (covers sanctioning, supplies, and time)
--$10 to Lunch (Player Pack)
--$22 to Payout (the good stuff)
Payouts will also include a minimum of $750 added cash!
Layouts:
MA1, MA40, MA50, MA2: Rounds 1 & 2 All-Star, Round 3 all Blue Tees
All other divisions: Rounds 1 & 2 all White Tees, Round 3 All-Star
Hole 2's Basket will be in the long (Par 4) position for all three rounds.
Hole 15's basket will be in the tournament position on the dam. The flagged area in front of the basket will be standard relief area and will be played the same as OB without penalty.
With three rated rounds, lunch, and full payout, all for just a $40 entry fee, we think this gives players maximum bang for their buck. Spots will be limited to 72 players so don’t delay in registering!
