The 1st Annual Buxton Woods Lumberjack Match was a huge success!! The weather was perfect for the tourney!! Over $300 in Pay-Outs with $100 to Gregg Sutton for his 1st Place score of 100 for both rounds. Gregg also won $10 for an Ace and two CTP's!! 2nd Place went to Joel Russel for a cool $70. In all, 3 Aces for the day (Gregg S, Kolte Breck and Aaron Ussery) and CTP's made for a great day of disc golf.
A huge THANK YOU to Buxton Woods Disc Golf Course, Mr Chuck Strand and son Kevin, the Staff at Buxton Woods, Miss Amanda for an awesome Chili lunch and my Right Hand Asisstant with scores for the tourney, Big Dog for being the best Co-Director in disc golf and mostly, my THANKS to the players who showed up to support Buxton Woods!!! This was my first official disc golf tourney as "T" D. the T.D. I appreciate everyone being patient with the Tourney Director's inexperience.

The weather is going to be crisp and cold in the morning with sunshine in the afternoon. There will be a big warm fire, chili n fixins (please feel free to make a small donation to the Cook to show your apreciation for thier hard work) and 2 rounds of 1 disc Lumberjack disc golf!! Please take note*** We will be asking players to please carry both of your playing disc's on the course. If you dont carry your back-up disc and lose your primary disc, there will be no going to your vehicle to get a back-up disc. Your playing disc's do not have to weigh exactly the same weight, but close please. Should you lose both of your playing discs, you are out of the competition. When a disc is lost, please help look for card-mates plastic. Take a reasonable amount of time to search but do not hold up play behind you. More to come, Peeps!!

$20 Pay the day of the tourney. $3 of EntryFee pays Day Use Fee. All other cash will be paid out. How about 5 separate Rings of Fire? Each paying $20 cash to the Winner of each R.O.F. (Only 1 win per player. There will be 5 Pay-Outs to 5 Diffrent Players!!) See you next Saturday!!!

Due to inclement weather and a foot of snow on Bacona Road, The Lumber-Jack Match Tourney is being POSTPONED until a date can be re-set. I apologize for the short notice but The Staff at Buxton Woods including myself, agree the risk of driving and snow laden limbs would pose a danger to players. Friday Night GLUBS and Sunday Bag Tags will also be cancelled this week-end. Buxton Woods appreciates your co-operation and will have regular scheduled events next weekend.
