Hello BWO 2014 players! May 17th is coming up soon and I just had a few last minute notes and reminders for everyone who is participating:

Please remember to pay your $3 day use fee upon arrival. I decided to keep this fee separate from registration costs and we will have someone collecting it at the parking area. Your cooperation in making sure Buxton Woods receives all of their fees is greatly appreciated and a good way to show thanks for them closing the course for our event.

Buxton Woods DGC crew will be providing a burger and potato salad for lunch at a cost of 5 bucks. We tried to get catering but they wanted 10 bucks per person for the same thing. A big thanks to the Buxton Woods staff for stepping up and making a reasonably priced onsite hot lunch happen.

Greetings BWO players! I can't believe May is finally here. Stoked to the max for some sweet tourney action in Buxton with everyone.

Just a friendly reminder for any considering withdrawal/cancellation: you will only get a 50% refund if I receive your request after May 2nd. You will receive NO REFUND if I do not hear from you by midnight May 9th. I plan to make absolutely no exceptions to this rule to keep it fair. Excess funds will be put into ring of fire and ctp pots. Thanks and have a great weekend!

Ring of Fire had been added! We are currently collecting donations to make it an additional bonus for players. We had a great vounteer meeting this weekend. There are at least 6 dedicated volunteers, not including Chad and myself or the B.W. staff, ready to help this tourney run smoothly. We are nearly half full so register soon! Innova custom stamped Star plastic discs have been ordered for player's packs!

Allright! Got a couple more added to the waitlists. I suggest that anyone who wants to be on a waitlist make sure and keep tabs on the registered players. If the tourney starts to fill, and you have not heard from me on the waitlist, it may be a good idea to register for your second choice division so we can save your spot. I will then gladly switch your division if and when it becomes available (4+ people on the list).
