About this tournament

Welcome to The Farmer's Wife! This is the fourth event of the 2025 British Columbia Women's Series!

The British Columbia Women's Series Sponsored by MVP Disc Sports is a series of inclusive events to support, mentor, encourage and grow women and junior girl's participation in disc golf; a place where women and girls can feel safe and empowered. BC Women's Series points will be awarded for this event. BC Women's Series points will be awarded for this event.

ALL experience levels are welcome! Divisions offered are part of the overall series, and will be consistent across events.

WHAT TO EXPECT:
A full day of tournament style disc golf, which consists of 2 rounds - 18 holes per round. Shotgun starts for rounds. We have some significant elevation at 3 Blind Mice so bring some good walking shoes.
Player packs for all participants. Trophies for top 3 of each division, Pro division also get payouts.

Lunch onsite: make your own sandwich (vegetarian and GF options), snacks, candy etc. If you have specific food allergies please let us know in the comments while registering.
We will have bulk water onsite, please bring your own container.
There will be a bathroom at hole 1 tournament day only.
Caddies: Once again we will try to find club members to caddy for you if you would like (highly recommended if you haven't played the course before or are not used to the elevation gain of our course). Please request a caddy during registration.
Per the PGDA rules, Juniors aged 13 and under MUST be accompanied by a non-playing adult for the duration of each round.

Evening dinner and social: location to be determined still but this is open to all volunteers, caddies, and player's partners/families/supporters.

TEE PADS/BASKETS:
Note: Red pads will be on holes 1, 4, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, and 17. Hole 4 red will be a dirt pad.
There are long baskets with red bands (B baskets) on holes 3, 8, 12, and 17.
UDisc has course maps with distances from various pads and baskets.
FPO - Blue pads both rounds, A baskets 1st round, B baskets 2nd round.
FP40 - Blue pads, A baskets both rounds.
FP50, FA1 - Blue pads 1st round, red pads 2nd round. A baskets both rounds.
FA2, FA3, FA4, FA40, FA50, FA60, and JUNIOR divisions: Red, A baskets both rounds.

Division assignments were based on PGDA division recommendations for average distance thrown. Have a look here at the link below if interested, but ultimately, you can sign up for whichever division you would like to play in, on the tee pads you want to play on! You can update your division through the division tab after your initial registration, but reach out if you need a hand!

FEES:
Your Entry Fee includes 2 rounds at 3 Blind Mice, lunch, water and entry for draw prizes along with a player's pack.

PDGA Canada has waived the PDGA non member fee for C Tier events in the series.

Pass Through Fees:
PDGA PLAYER FEE $3
SERIES FEE $5 (to series payouts)
ADMIN. FEE $2 (used for event sanctioning)

Optional Series Ace Pot ($5) - If the Ace Pot is not won in this tournament, it will carry over to the Series Finale Tournament where 50% will be used as an overall Series Ace Pot and 50% will be donated to a Women’s B.C. charity to be determined later.

SCORING
We will be using PDGA digital scorecards for this event, but paper scorecards will be available if you need them. In accordance with Rule 808 Scoring, ALL players on each card MUST keep score.

CADDY BOOK
Will be sent out once registration has closed on May 31, 2025.
