Bring On The Heat tournament is two weeks away. What can you expect from this event?
First of all, Kevin Lynott and his staff do a great job of taking care of this facility and running this event. I believe this is the 4th year they have run this event and the only changes you will see from previous year's events is that fact that the payouts will be aligned to PDGA standards.
With that being said, payout will be around 100%. Infinite Discs will be onsite with their discs. Your payouts will be a combination of prizes donated from the park (cabins, camping stays, etc..) and Infinite Bucks that will allow you to grab whatever Infinite has on hand.
It is not recommended that you bring a cart. Unless you throw perfect drives on every hole, you will probably end up walking through some weeds at some point (with goat heads). Water will be available on the course, but bring some more.
The course is not within a close proximity to restaurants and gas stations. Kevin will have hot dogs, chips, and a drink available for $2 for lunch. Otherwise, please bring a lunch. We will not wait for you to get back if you decide to dart into American Falls to grab lunch.
Thanks to Kimble Johnson, the VIP will be powered with fans. Should be awesome.
Kevin runs this event as a fundraiser. We will be having a raffle after the rounds that will include a Zuca Cart and a DGA cloth basket, among other things. All of the proceeds will go to Massacre Rocks State Park.
Due to the nature of the course, we will only be holding 72 entrants max in this event. So, if you want to secure a spot, pre-register!
