The Blizzard Bash is a 2 round doubles tournament at Mighty Oaks DGC at the Paola VFW post #3712.
We will start our first round at 9:30 on the 14th. We will be using a best lie format for both rounds. Followed by lunch which will be provided by the Busy Beavers 4H club for a $5 donation. The bar will also be open for the tournament.
Round 2 will start around 1 pm depending on round 1 finish time.
There will be CTP prizes for teams during each round as well as opportunities to “purchase” mulligans, 3 max per round. To purchase each mulligan, bring 5 cans or dry goods items that can be dropped off during check in. All donated food items will be donated to My Fathers House of Paola.
We are running this tournament to raise funds for the Vfw, to make improvements to the course, and to replace a basket that was stolen off their property. Their community has welcomed all of us with open arms and has allowed us to utilize their beautiful property for this Tough but Complementary 9 hole course right here in Paola, Ks.
There will be cash payout and will be allocated based on total entries. We will be dividing all entry funds with $20 to the VFW post, and $10 to cash earnings. All teams entered are eligible for cash payout.
