What a good late fall day. Sunshine, dry conditions, and LOTS of friends. Could not have asked for much more. Big thanks to Joe Arnet who helped behind the scenes with securing donations helping with the details, and really wanted to be in attendance, things just did not work out.

I want to thank all 82 players who came out to play in the Black Friday Ace Race. It was WONDERFUL to see everyone out there enjoying the day with one another. HUGE thank to the following folks for donating items to the raffle:
-Discraft - Chainstar Lite and some other goodies such as discs, towels
-#1 Discraft Guys Scott and Paul - Chainstar Lite, and matching set of Lunas
-The Throw Shop - Eagle McMahon AX5 Bag
-WC Glow - backpack bag and discs
-There were a number of folks who donated items to the raffle as well (some of those were signed discs by big name pros). Thank you for contributing your gems! I know those that walked away with them were happy.

Some wind out there on the course made throwing an ace a little difficult...but we did see 2 Aces on the day: Tim Gacioch and Thomas Whittman ($530 each). Congrats guys.

Several near aces resulted in a number of DOTs. Players had their choice of items that were donated in the DOT pile. There were some gems in there as well!

As my first time helping the plan and run this ace race, I appreciate you coming out. The really important thing is that we had a chance to help one of our own, Ron Howard. Ron is a wonderful guy who would give you the shirt off his back, and is always the first the jump in and get his hands dirty when there is work to be done.

I am happy to say that you all showed up for him. We raised $1,928 for him and his medical expenses.
