Welcome to Birdie Presents: The Woodchuck, in support of ExpO, a 2 round PDGA C-tier! There will not be a players' meeting, all the information you need is in this email.

IT IS MANDATORY THAT ALL PLAYERS CHECK IN WITH ME FROM 8:15–9:00 AM. All ams will receive their players packs at check-in, choice of a $20 item(disc or apparel).

The first round will start at 9:30 am. Your tentative starting hole will be listed at https://www.pdga.com/tour/event/77016 by tonight. Please double check your starting hole at 9:10 am tomorrow in case of any last minute changes. Second round tee time and hole assignments will also be listed here approximately 20 minutes after the last card is finished. Minimum 40 minutes for lunch.

$5 from each entry fee will be donated to Expanding Options(ExpO). ExpO is a family-led Delaware non-profit for Neurodiverse Adults and their Families that works to grow social connections and networks and to raise awareness and foster advocacy around issues that impact individuals and families with disabilities. Thanks to everyone who made an additional donation!

Course notes

If you arrive early, please do not use the tees before they are cleared. Play from the side or clear the tee.

Snow play is in effect. You may attach a ribbon, string, or other material or device to assist in finding the disc(PDGA 813.01D). Also, you may tee off up to 1 meter to the left or right of the tee.

If the snow is deep, it is recommended to send a spotter or 2 down the fairway on every hole.

Hole #4 – left/long basket
Hole #8 – long basket
Hole #11 – long basket
Hole #12 – short basket
Hole #14 – OB: road and across
Hole #15 – OB: road and across

The playoff loop will be 1, 2, 3, 17, 18, 2, 3...

Payouts and Prizes

Pros will receive their winnings through PayPal by Monday evening. Ams will be paid in vouchers which must be used in-person Saturday at the tournament. The ace pot is currently at $66 and will paid out via PayPal if hit.

Scoring

We will be using live scoring on pdga.com/score. Enter the code “birdie” Please remember to make your scores official at the completion of your round.

There's a new PDGA rule this year that each player must keep an independent scorecord for the entire group. A player who refuses to keep score may be subject to disqualification. If you do not wish to use your phone, I will have paper scorecards available at check-in. After the round place your scorecard in the container at tourney central. The PDGA live scoring is the official scorecard. It is up to you to make sure your paper card matches it. If not, you will be penalized(PDGA 808)
