Hey Jason, I am trying to get to Bethel on Friday morning to get a feel for the course. I have never played there before and I don't really want to play blind on Saturday. Are we able to play the layout for the tourney on Friday? Also if I am able to practice that layout then is there a reference point for me to know where to throw. Thanks.

The tournament layout is in UDisc. I am not sure if all baskets are in the correct position, but I imagine they are. You should be fine to get in for a practice round, just check in at the gate. It’s an amazing and very tough course, I would definitely recommend getting at least one practice round in.

Jason Wilder   May 12, 2021 at 2:56pm

Hi Ryan. The course is currently in the tourney layout and the OB is painted and flagged on holes 7 and 10. UDisc is fairly accurate in terms of the flow, but I need to get out there and update the exact locations and distances. You are absolutely welcome to practice the course. As far as reference points to know where to throw, that will have to be part of your prep :P

Thank you guys. Appreciate the feedback.

Hello, when I registered for the waitlist I did not have a ranking but now I am not able to enter the recreational division because my ranking is above 900. Is there a way I could move into the intermediate division or still play in the recreational division?

Thank you, since it would not let me complete the registration confirmation, am I still completely registered? PDGA # 133787

Jason Wilder   May 12, 2021 at 2:58pm

You are registered and free to stay in the MA3 division for this weekend.

Jeremy Gross   May 14, 2021 at 4:18pm

Nate Ferriere was talking this morning about wanting to get into Rec. Maybe its possible to move these two if they both still want to switch.

For those not on Facebook, here's the pin locations:

"[...] For [this] event, the BIRDIE Battle, I want people to have a chance at birdies."

2 will play short
3 will still play long
5 will play long
10 will play short/right for all divisions but MPO and MA1
15 will be split into two holes
15A will play to the visible basket
15B will play from the service road up and to the left to normal 15 long
16 is short
18 is long for everyone except women and juniors

Hi Jason, Just wondering if there will be an OB list coming out? Thanks

Jason Wilder   May 10, 2021 at 7:22pm

Absolutely.

Edward Oakes    April 30, 2021 at 1:55am

Hey Jason, is it possible to get switched to MA1 waitlist or do I need to re-register? Something came up and Saturday doesn’t work for me anymore.

Jason Wilder   April 30, 2021 at 2:46am

You'll need to request a refund and re-register unfortunately as they are two separate events

Peter Deuth    April 24, 2021 at 1:03am

Is MA2 playing from the "long" tee with the bricks next to it on hole 18? (I heard that generally people didn't use that one, so I just wanted to double check.) Thanks!

If you are referring to the tee at the bottom of the hill, that is actually the short tee and noone will be using that tee. The portable restrooms will be located there.

Peter Deuth   April 24, 2021 at 12:56pm

Thanks for the clarification!

Aidan Wilmet    March 16, 2021 at 2:08pm

Hey Jason are the juniors playing from the short tees?

Jason Wilder   March 16, 2021 at 2:26pm

yes

Eric Ziebarth    March 14, 2021 at 11:41pm

Will I automatically moved from waitlist to registered player? Do I just show up on tourney day and hope for the best? Not sure how the waitlist works.

Jason Wilder   March 15, 2021 at 12:16am

Hi Eric. You will be informed via email prior to the event if/when you are promoted from the waitlist. If you do not make it into the event, you will be given a full refund less a $5 waitlist fee.

Eric Ziebarth   March 15, 2021 at 3:20am

Cool. Thanks Jason.

Brandon Jasperson    March 3, 2021 at 2:18am

Hey Jason I requested a refund because i was waitlisted but I was moved to the registration list from the waitlist so just in case, I am good to go to play and do not want to be refunded now.

Ben Schmidt    March 3, 2021 at 2:07am

What happens if it charged me the full amount but I ended up on the waitlist

Jason Wilder   March 3, 2021 at 2:12am

If you end up not getting in the event, your entry will be refunded less a $5 waitlist fee.

Jason Lucht   April 26, 2021 at 9:39am

Hello, why is there a waitlist fee? Thanks

Jason Wilder   April 27, 2021 at 3:57am

The biggest reason is it prevents people from adding their names to waitlists to a bunch of events just hoping to get in to one. There is also an amount of administrative time involved in managing registration and it is a small way to compensate TD's for the time they spend doing the behind the scenes work.

Jason, is it possible that MA2 might let a few others in, or is it a hard cap at 30?

Colin Ducklow   March 3, 2021 at 2:09am

I forgot to pre-enter my phone number and my heart started racing lol

Peter Deuth   March 3, 2021 at 2:28am

My PayPal glitched out and wouldn't let me enter my email address which cost me a whole 15 seconds.. : (

Thomas Oswald    March 2, 2021 at 2:01am

Doesnt it open at 8?

Kyle Livingood   March 2, 2021 at 2:04am

March 2nd (tomorrow) it does - The Basset Creek Tourney registration is tonight.

Thomas Oswald   March 2, 2021 at 2:10am

Yep Bassett was what I was attempting. I scrolled to fast and saw the logo didn't read the name ????

Colin Ducklow    February 19, 2021 at 2:27am

March 2 is correct. 8PM CST

Jason Wilder   February 20, 2021 at 12:55am

And Colin Ducklow, only the pre-reg spots are full. 67% of the spots for the event will be open to the public on Mar 2

Colin Ducklow   February 21, 2021 at 5:58pm

Gotcha, I'll give it a shot on the next round. Thanks!

Kevin Phillips    February 19, 2021 at 2:04am

Filled out reg right at 8:00 and didn't get in?

Ben Parnell   February 19, 2021 at 2:14am

Yea it's crazy right now. Gotta have everything pre-filled and have your PayPal setup for almost-instant processing.

Chris Yanta    February 18, 2021 at 3:53am

I noticed that the CTPs for this tournament are cash. How will placement payouts work? Is it cash or store credit? Thanks

Jason Wilder   February 18, 2021 at 2:11pm

Straight CASH

Can you check if I’m on the list as well?

Jason Wilder   February 19, 2021 at 4:01am

Yes Shawn

Shawn Vanderwerf   February 19, 2021 at 3:26pm

Thanks.

David Bajari    January 27, 2021 at 1:10pm

I know there are a few holes with 2 baskets. Will MA2 be playing longs? Or should I sign up for MA1 if I want that? I’m thinking of hole 15 specifically. Thanks for your time!

The only divisions playing anything in the short position or short tees is the Womens and Junior divisions.
